Pros:
+Nice, large concrete tee pads. These things will always be grippy and adequate for the needs of this course.
+Nice baskets that catch well and are in good shape.
+A good mix of open and lightly wooded holes. Nothing was totally open and nothing was too wooded. A good variety and good use of this park.
+One basket was elevated and gave the course some more character.
+Signs were big and solid.
+Overall on the shorter side but there was some length here and there. Most of the short holes had some other features/obstacles to them.
+Good place for beginners to learn and have fun. I still had fun as an experienced player.
+Could definitely get some aces here.
+Shouldn't lose a disc here.
+This park might be the only one in all of Centerville. It has the swimming pool, ball fields, shelters, a few playgrounds, batting cage, horseshoes, and more.
Cons:
-Overall, some might see the course as crammed in with other park activities. It wasn't an issue when I went on a weekday morning but definitely could be an issue if at all busy.
-On a similar note, some might feel that the use of the batting cage, buildings, and fences as obstacles was gimmicky.
-Advanced players will get bored quickly. I think it's still worth a play or two but they won't make many repeat trips here.
-Be careful and be ready to yell "Fore". Take a peek around the corner before you toss on some of the blind holes.
Other Thoughts:
+This course had a decent fun factor for me. It was well designed with what they had to work with. These open, park style course can be a grab bag of quality but this one was more enjoyable than most. I can't really rate it higher just due to the nature of this style of course.
+Best holes: 1,3,4,7
1- Low ceiling with roads as OB
3- Long tunnel shot with basket off to the side at the end.
4- Shorter tunnel shot that would be a beauty to ace
7- Short, blind hole with a raised basket
