Description
Scenic, challenging par 55 course that plays around the cooling ponds of the de-commissioned Trojan Point Nuclear Facility. This is one of the only courses in the Pacific NW to feature extensive water hazards, with 11 holes playing over or adjacent to water. Newer players should bring plastic they can stand to lose, or avoid the course entirely, though there are only a few places where players are actually forced to throw over water, and a cautious player with limited power can navigate the course without losing plastic. While the course has good tee pads and baskets, Trojan currently lacks any signage. USE THE COURSE MAP ON THE LINK/FILES TAB when you play for the first time, as finding some tees/holes can be challenging.

Zip/Postal Code 97048
Latitude / Longitude Decimal: 46.036667, -122.89333
Local Directions:
From Portland; West on US 30 for 40-41 miles to Trojan Power Plant. Turn right and park on either side of the main road. NOTES ON FINDING FIRST TEE: Right after you enter, park on the side of the road (by the portable restroom and basket 1), the first tee is about a 300 foot walk past the first basket on a small raised concrete platform with some old wooden benches. You play from the corner of that concrete platform. After that, the course is fairly easy to follow from the course map.
