Wildwood Springs 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 1, 2019 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Easy to navigate
-Very clean-cut fairways (experience may vary)
-Good variety of lines between holes
-Good variety of distance between holes
-Parking and port-a-potty right next to hole #1 and #9

Cons:

-Prairie grass on the side of fairways is very tall
-On some holes, lack of trees/obstacles

Other Thoughts:

-Good contrast to the nearby Galloway park
-Very open and easy-going course
-Good course for beginners or for a quick and easy round, not too many difficult holes and easy to navigate. I'd recommend visiting this course and Galloway park in the same day to get some variety.

Pros:

Easy to NavigateOpen fairwaysClear cut fairwaysNot busy

Cons:

The Pars are all off making it too easy to throw way under parLots of ticks

Other Thoughts:

This course is great for beginners. It has a lot of easy thtows but adds in some obstacles that will help a beginner grow their skills. The pars are way off but it is still a fun quick course to play that is never busy.

Wildwood Springs 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 8, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

+ Dead easy to find and navigate
+ Excellent signage, map at start, tee signs with hole maps and all info you need.
+ Decent variety of hole length and shots
+ Clean course

Cons:

- several holes get very muddy when it rains or with snow melt
- Hole 8 gets very slippery if wet or snowy
- Most fairways are 15' cut through prairie grass, it's hard to spot a wayward disc. I am really not a fan of this style, especially on a course that is so obviously recreational.
There are 2 holes where you could throw onto Private Land, be mindful.

Other Thoughts:

Currently, the river sits right behind 2 baskets, be careful not to overthrow.
All in all, not a bad course for a warm up or quick round.

Wildwood Springs 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 5, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Nice new! course. Intermediate/am course mostly open field but some wooded shots. Has small parking lot with Porta potty Very good signage Elevation on 2 holes Also 2 bomber holes Nice wooded area at front and back of course lightly wooded field in middle Turf tees !!

Cons:

Tall grass off fairways but with a little effort you can find your disc Note! fairways are wide and mowed short but go off edge of fairway and your hunting! Center part of course has small trees planted need to grow Pick & Pack garbage needs more trash cans. Buckthorn in bushes

Other Thoughts:

If your looking for a fun little course with different types of shots for a fast round this fits the bill. Add Galloway park 1 mile away and its a fun 18 holes!!
