a nice little oasis. 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Clean. Cut grass. Easy to follow signs. No chance of losing a disc. Short open holes great for beginners, kids, and anyone looking for a bunch of ace runs. Easy parking.

Cons:

Short open holes with no obstacles means that it can get kind of boring for an experienced player.

Other Thoughts:

I love little courses like this. We happen to find this course we\'re getting some breakfast after camping out in what we thought was the middle of nowhere but what turns out to be a nice little Kansas town. If you\'re on I 70 traversing the state and take a half hour and stop in this town for the disc golf and quaint small town feel.

Constant 30 MPH Wind And No Trees! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 19, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Wilson DGC has a nice big course sign out by Front Street. There are 18 DGA baskets with small numbers on the inside pole. There is a mailbox but with no mail or maps inside. The course has decent concrete pads. I wish somehow that these tees were marked with the hole numbers. That would be a great help.

Cons:

The # 4 basket is all beat up and the # 8 basket has a serious lean. Normally, I would place the blame on the local teen population. However, out here, I think the baskets just succumbed to the ever present wind.

Seriously, the winds was non-stop 25-35 MPH.

There is no shade, no obstacles, no anything. Just open throws across grass. Nice grass, though.

Navigation is seriously difficult. Tee signs or markings on the pads would really help. There is a course map. I tried taking a picture with my phone but couldn't get a pic as I couldn't hold the phone steady in the wind.

Other Thoughts:

On a decent calm morning or evening, this course might be borderline OK to play. Today, it was brutally unplayable. Absolutely not worth even trying. Difficult to stand up windy!

Pros:

it has baskets

Cons:

No fun here.

Other Thoughts:

Don't veer off the I-70 thinking, I'm going to play a quick 9 holes or something at this course. I drove over to see what this course was about and it is pretty much exactly as described, devoid of trees, in a flat 1/2 acre of land. I don't see the point in multiple baskets. There could be one basket, and it would serve the same purpose, as a putting practice. Move on.
