Pros:
- Great Baskets
- Good chance to open the arms and perfect your hyzer lines
- Fun elevation changes
- Well placed challenging greens around the course
- a fun stress free round
- The run of holes of 3 - 8 are probably the best on the course and all good fun to play.

Cons:

- Hampered by having to follow the footgolf flow and avoid the fishing lakes.
- We tried to get as creative as possible with the holes but most are hyzers of some variety or other.
- Whilst a fan of pay to play, this is probably a touch too expensive.
- Course is a drive or 10 minute walk from the main office.

It's a fun round of Disc Golf and a good chance to practice your hyzer!
I started off looking at a 2 star review but have settled on 2.5 as everyone at the opening tournament really enjoyed playing the course so maybe I'm being too harsh on it. Some were even saying it was one of their favourites which I found a bit odd.
There is a lot of potential at the venue and I hope in time to be able to utilise a wooded area and stream that is next to the current course, with that bit of variety it could be a really good course, my main issue is the openness of it. As much as we tried to use the elevation available the course is wide open.
Overall It's a fun place to play and I have enjoyed my rounds here, I really like the run of holes 4 - 7. and 3 and 8 are two decent par 3.5's/4's to the shorter arms that bookend them.
It's worth a play if you are in the area and I hope to do much more with it in the future.

Pros:
Baskets: The Prodigy baskets are brand new, look amazing and are extremely catchy. I played in a very strong wind and all my putts stayed in.
Clubhouse: A really well laid out clubhouse with knowledgeable staff. The course is a combined golf and extreme sports centre. However for what is a brand new course the lady I spoke to was extremely well informed and had obviously read up on the sport.

Cons:
Tees: The course is set on a Footgolf course, however the tee's for that don't seem to point towards the correct greens. I was very grateful for the course map I had been supplied with, as this aided me in throwing to the correct basket.
Location: Once you have paid (£10) in the clubhouse, you then face a 15 min walk to the first tee. The bridleway you have to negotiate is bordered on one side with a stream, unfortunately on my visit the bridleway WAS the stream.

Other Thoughts:
This course is set on a wide open field, in between 2 fishing lakes. There is a surprising amount of elevation change on the course, which adds to the enjoyment.
I am aware this course is a work in progress and the tee signage is yet to be added. I am sure this facility will develop over time.
Below I will detail the holes as I found them.
Hole 1 - A long hole to start, the basket is set on the man made embankment of one of the lakes. Careful with your second shot not to over throw or you may end up in the water
Hole 2 - A short hole, which plays to the right of the pylon. The overhead wires shouldn't come into play.
Hole 3 - A long straight hole from a slightly elevated tee. Beyond the mounds on your left is a main road but this shouldn't come into play.
Hole 4 - A tricky short hole, with the basket set halfway up a steep slope. Roll aways will be common here I expect.
Hole 5 - In a strong wind this is a really tough hole. Play across the top of a natural elevated spine. The basket is just off the top. A wayward throw left or right will result in a long roll away.
Hole 6 - A wonderful hole, played from the top of the ridge to the corner of the field. I played the road beyond the fence as OB.
Hole 7 - The only dogleg on the course. A blind tee shot, to a tight green. Again I played the road (beyond the bank on the left) as OB.
Hole 8 - A really long straight hole, to a basket on a 45 degree slope.
Hole 9 - A short straight hole. Difficult to judge in high winds as this hole is set in a funnel between 2 lakes so the wind can rip through the gap.
Hole 10 - This hole plays into the U bend of a lake. Careful not to throw long as you could end up in the drink. A straight drive and easy approach should gain you a par here.
Hole 11 - Another long straight hole. No really undulation or worry here. Aim straight and the basket should be yours.
Hole 12 - This basket is again set close to the lakeside, careful not to overthrow. With hole 1 playing the other way on this hole I expect during a competition there could be an OB line between the 2 holes.
I really enjoyed my visit, despite the strong winds. I look forward to watching this course grow and develop.
