Pros:

This is an events-only course but unlike many temp courses it isn't an annual tournament type thing. Opportunities to play exist fairly commonly if you follow the club page but the land is currently up for sale so your chances to experience this course are limited. If you do get to play, you will be wowed. It is unlike anything else in the state. Elevation but not the jagged, quarry-type elevation that is found on most Florida courses that have altitude at all. Fairways with multiple turns, both subtle and dramatic. Holes that are both constricting and lengthy. Sudden changes in direction. Soaring arcs. Imposing tree lines. Tight lines. Flightpaths that must didge trees while taking the slope and the slant into account. Blind tees. Protected baskets. Open holes with sharp chutes leading to the pin. Lurking water. Island greens. Everything you are looking for is here.
This is a long course with a lot of ups and downs. It will wear you out and test pretty much every aspect of your game. Bring your water because you will need it out here. Long holes, long walks and significant climbs. In the Florida sun, this course will be a workout at any time of year.
Fairways are never overly tight but the rough is extremely punishing. Go even slightly off the allowed path and you are looking at a pitch out or worse. OB lurks around every corner yet aside from the ponds, the trouble will appear more on your score sheet than on you watch as disc searches shouldn't be too difficult.
It's tough to pick out a memorable hole as the play is consistently solid over the entire run. One that stands out is a blind shot through a wooded path that fades right to a large open landing zone. From there it's a pitch across a small straight of water to a basket on a promontory but be careful how you land, roll away from the pin and you'll notice that the steep green is almost surrounded by water.
7 comes to mind too. A long and gradual downhill that needs to hug left along a fairway that sloped to the right and then flex right towards the basket over a marshy area that may or may not feature water.
But that's only a sample. Every hole here is unique. As is the terrain, especially in this state.

Cons:

What it's not: accessible, and I don't mean that you can't gain access to it. Players below a certain ability level are going to struggle here and I don't think it will be much fun for them.
Cheesy fake island green.
It's also not a course you would play every day, even if you could. It's long and grueling and a lot of holes will put a little fear in you, especially considering how many of the tees are blind. Disc loss will be easy with no spotter as there is hidden water and dense shrubbery near many landing zones. A course you will want to experience and one you will want to return to but not really to play day after day after day.
And as much as this course is great, there isn't really a signature moment, and there isn't anything that will blow away someone who has played outside of the Floridian peninsula. So while a few factors keep it from placing with the truly elite, it is definitely one of the top few courses of the state.

Other Thoughts:

Get it while it lasts. Check out the events calendar and keep an eye out for opportunities to play Woodberry.
