We were having a stupid discussion the other night, how can you write 2P on a scorecard?

The only way we could come up with is an ace with some kind of courtesy violation...hey...I can see it happening. I wouldn't want to be the guy calling it on the acer, though.

Any other ways?

I was playing freedom park in vegas, I don't remember what hole... 9 or so has OB about 2 feet behind the pin, I threw a thumber that rolled ob just behind the basket, I took my drop into the basket. 2P (Circle 2 in the rest of the country).

But really, I think the last time we had this discussion it came down to yeah, possibly with a courtesy violation, or maybe an ace off of a second foot fault off the tee.

1 drive, 1 putt, 1 penalty, that's a 3

A practice throw is also a 1-stroke penalty (without warning). Say you threw your drive with a disc in your off hand. You were then so excited when it aced that you tossed the disc in your off hand into the air in celebration...

If you have a buncr hole at the USDGC (2008-2009) and land in the buncr on the tee shot, you rethrow from the tee with no penalty other than the penalty of losing distance. If you sink the next throw, it's a 2. There's no official scorecard convention for this but it might be a 2P or maybe 2B.

No that is simply a 2.
Martin that is a 3P sorry, no such thing as a drop in that doesn't count as a stroke.

So wait, the stroke counts when you call a foot fault?

So if you foot faulted, were warned, re-tee'd, aced but foot faulted again could you get a 2p on the hole or would you need to re-tee a third time throwing three?

So if you aced and then shouted F*** YEAH! You could be stroked with a courtesy violation if someone else was teeing off nearby.

No, but I think if you footfaulted twice and aced the 3rd shot, it'd be a warning, a penalty, and a throw. 2P / Circle-2. And a "Take that!" to the guy who called the first two footfaults.
