...I have played with the Ion and Swan 2, as well as the Magnet and Yeti Pro Aviar. But, my plastic obsession has the best of me and I want to try something new. Suggestions? Go!

(Firm) Vibram Sole or if you are looking for something with a little less glide, A Firm Vibram Ridge

im curious about the wizard. is the super stupid soft the most popular plastic? what is that plastic comparable to? durability wise and grip wise.

I am newly addicted to the Maniac. But I love my Prodiscus Jokeri and Pro Rhynos.
I hate my Aviars and I do not like the plastic of the anodes.

Gateway Voodoo SSS will make you realize what a putter should feel like. Then buy a Wizard for windy days or every day. Can't go wrong with either or both.

I am curious about the Gateway putters, because I know that is what they do best. I tend to push putt, but need to work more on spinning it. Which Gateway would be good with that criteria?

I would love to see a 1000 rated player do a major side by side putter comparison. Throw them all full speed, compare resistance to turn, distance, fade, and then putting.

If that were to happen I think the JK Aviar would be at the top of the list for everything...except maybe long putts due to it's low speed fade.

My putter obsession has gotten the better of me lately. In the last 6 months I've went through Wizard -Sole -Yeti Aviar -KC Aviar -Swan2 -Clutch. I'm liking the clutch as a driver and putting with the swan2 currently. I have a eclipse ion on the way and can't wait to try the clozer. Legacy's second putter.

Here's what I didn't like about what I've tried:

Wizard- Seems to drop at a rate that I could never dial in. Resulted in a lot of cage hits and roll aways. Hard to find consistent plastic runs. Have yet to find a putter that drives as well as a wizard though.

Sole- putted well just couldn't get as much distance on drives as I could with a wizard.

Yeti- didn't like the concave feel and not very durable.

KC- great for putting. Like the San Marino mold and the 11x which are expensive. Doesn't have the glide of a Wizard.

If the clozer ends up flying like a Wizard I'm gonna be all over that because Legacy's plastic seems to be consistent so far.

A good friend of mine is a 1000 rated pro and he putts with JK pro aviars regularly. He also spin putts like a mad man.

Keep searching and find a putter that stands out to you. As long as its not a pig or zone or something crazy, that should be the one you go with. I can't say enough about having a putter in your hands and thinking you can make most putts with it. Putting is very mental. Whether its brand, stamp, name, plastics, whatever. If something makes you really drawn to a putter, you'd be well served to go for it.
