200 foot narrow hole

This is the kind of hole that I think you are talking about here, and yes there is a 5 ft gap to hit.

Badlands Blair Witch

Hole #1 at Blair Witch is one of the hardest holes I have played on any course.

I will have to hit that up I think nesxt time im down that way! You going to Shule School this weekend??

A tourney in Ingleside. Get some houston boys for a road trip

if i could do it backhand id go with a Qjls but if a forehand was a better choice maybe a teebird or cro but maybe a Qjls as well , it would really depend on whether i could hit the pin or not or just wanted to give myself a chance at a birdie putt.

I just paid my bills , so I can't go anywhere this weekend.

Aug 1 we are having a grand opening tournament in Lake Jackson at Dunbar Park for the new course. I will be there for sure.

is River Grove still closed?

Yes. They are still working on the sink hole and they whole road. The tournament on Aug. 8 has been canceled.:( I really miss playing out there. Especially since its only 10 miles from my home. The next closest course is 22 miles away.

wow all of these pics are really making me think... I realy have no idea. Id probably pull out the Z buzz and just pray

I'm curious about the Blair Witch course and the origin of the name. Why did they choose to name it after the movie?

I'd have to go with the hyzer flip, probably my champ cobra or dx stingray.

My home course is a tight, technical wooded course. I'm well versed in hitting gaps. This does not change the fact that the 5 foot fairway holes are just plain stupid.

Yeah, god forbid you challenge yourself with a difficult shot.

For the hole, I would try a tomahawk if the canopy is high enough...I have had good luck with this shot on holes similar to this. If that didnt work, I would do a weak backhand with a cheetah, and pray i make it through

My frustration is that the CLOSEST course to me is 24 miles, and it is only OK. Vidor and Lafayette are 55 miles, Port Arthur 75, and the course I like to play most, Baton Rouge Highland, is 115 miles. I hope those with multiple courses close by appreciate their good fortune.

5 FEET!!??? That's less than my armspan, for crying out loud. If I encountered this, as a tunnel the whole way, I'd just grumble and skip the hole. Give me 8-10 feet and I'd throw a hard, low tomahawk with a stable driver.

No way can you skip the hole. The worst thing happens is you hit a tree...something that never happens in disc golf. Better to try it out and maybe get lucky

I think that's an accurate response

Well hitting a spot that wide between a few trees at one point in a fairway is one thing, but throwing a shot that doesn't deviate from within a 5' line for 200 feet? Nah, I'm just not that good, so it doesn't really matter what I throw. I might try to throw a putter halfway and leave myself a long upshot. I still think this is a rather unfair design for a hole, and I've never encountered such. The closest I've seen is an 8' tunnel hole of this description, with jail just off the tunnel on both sides. I don't see how you could justify anything narrower than this.
