So apparently I lost yet another Pro Line Gremlin the other day without even knowing it, may have fell out the bag, I just don't know exactly. Anyway I look on eBay today and here she is...

This guy lives in my same zip code and did not even call me. In the description it even says ink in rim (which is my name/#). The chances of there being another max weight orange PL Gremlin with a half-wiped rainbow stamp in my area are slim-to-none. I'm certain it's mine.

I have messaged him but have not gotten a reply yet. I am hoping he does the right thing and let's me get it back for a small cash reward like I offered him. Obviously he didn't even bother calling and saw the chance for a large profit instead, so I don't know how good my chances are at retrieving my lost property.

I already have half of my Austin buddies on the case and I am confident he will reply thru eBay, but it's not 100% given since he didn't do the right thing from the getgo. In my opinion, it's not worth making enemies in our local community over one disc.

On eBay his name is 'atxdiscgolf', and there is also a user on here by the same name...

Thoughts? What what you do? What would you say if you got it back in person?

I think that's pretty lame to not even try to get it back to it's rightful owner. It's one thing if it's not inked..

I would ask him if you could have one of his discs than list it up on feebay

Before you go to eBay, I think you'd need to know 110% that it is your disc. While it seems the evidence is in your favor, you can't be that confident without see it.

As far as making an enemy, you don't have to. Just do the right thing on your end. If he ends up an enemy, it should be for your actions.

Well I am going to give him an adequate chance to reply, but if he simply ignores me and let's it sell then I am gonna be SUPER freakin' hot under the collar.

If I get home for lunch in a second and it's not in my bag, then that is my disc 100% certain based on photo and description. I've only looked at it 1000 times in person, I know the stamp/color/opaqueness, everything.

He even said it has a nick or two on the rim and I JUST put a heavy nick on it the other day for the first time. Looking at the size of the ink in the rim, it even looks like how I would write it. Notice he didn't take a photo to show the name/#.

Should the person have called you? Absolutely.
Did this person take your property without permission? Unknown.
You say that you don't know how you lost the disc.
While it sucks that it's for sale, if dude doesn't want to give it back, I don't see how you can do anything other than shame him.

I just logged onto ebay and asked who's name and number are on the rim. Told him I would not want to buy a disc just to run into the original owner with their disc in my bag.

I will let you know if I get a reply.

That guy who has your disc should definitely give your disc back. Especially if you guys are in the same area... how hard would that be for him to just pick up the phone and call. Whatta douch bag.

I'm POSITIVE it's mine. I write my name/# at the BOTTOM of the rim from the stamp so it won't rub off (b/c I always grip it at the same place at 2 O'Clock from the stamp). And you can tell it's not black ink, I happen to use a silver sharpie. C'mon Chris! hahaaa

I think enough ppl have msg'd him now, let's just give him a chance to do the right thing at this point. Thanks for all the efforts!

that sucks

almost as much as his listing looking to get $25 for a no run EXP1

I actually snorted

May be the same........

dashiellx = internet investigator extrordinaire

Thank you....

I'm pretty sure it's the same. How many Chris Bullion's can their be in Austin Tx who list "Disc Golf" as their favorite sport?

so, wait... you don't know if you have lost it yet?

IMHO, you lost your disc, give it a rest..

one.. single.. disc.. not the end of the world.

And yes, it's mine. Not in my bag. It's MINE. Well technically right now it's on loan to Chris.
