Post pics of your Disc Dog

Bandit goes with me almost every time I golf and as you can tell from my screen name what my purpose to him is.

Wow, that sure is one nice-looking dog. And look at those pearly whites! I've never seen a dog with such clean teeth.

Hey now.
Guess I should post one of him wet if you want to see a rat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is a Papillon, isn't it?
We've been thinking of getting one, but needed reassurance that breed would fit into our disc golf lifestyle,& into retirement. Feel free to express your thoughts in further detail, you've got my attention:)

How dare someone call your doggie a rat:eek:

This is Ozzie, he's known for hunting squirrels and chipmunks on the courses. His nickname is skullcrusher cause that's what he does when he actually catches one. Took this pic last week across the street from my house. He knows the sound my bag makes when i pick it up to go disc. Soon as he hears it he gets fired up for some discin.

Ozzie!!!!!!

Here is Charlie (girl) she is more of a stick dog than disc dog. The ear raised is Ace her sidekick. And then both of them together.

A papillion is not a much of a disc dog. I have a pomeranian chihuahua mix (looks like a papillion and around the same size. He does not chase discs, fetch discs, find discs, or anything helpful. He does bark at me while I am on the tee and I always have to watch out so hawks don't swoop down and snack on him.

the one time he did chase a disc, he chose a wraith. He kept up until the low speed turn. The disc went straight and then turned right into his ribs.

I wish I could get my dog to caddie for me. She would take off after the first squirrel she saw and to make matters worse she never catches anything.

But a Pomeranian/chihuahua mix isn't a Papillon;) I could see how such a small dog would imagine a disc rolling at it being a monster of some kind! Still, depends what your intentions are with the dog on the disc golf course. I don't require a dog to fetch the disc for me, mainly just behave & keep me company:)

Meet Mic, my newest friend and discin pal

he's 8 weeks, 3 days old

He hits the course for his 1st trip out this afternoon:)

Here's my dog. She's 7 months old. I have to keep her on the leash or else she will mess with everyone on the course. She's a great dog but gets so excited and lunges when I throw discs. She wants to go get them. I put my wife on duty of holding her.

This is Candy. I adopted her when she was 8 months old and will have had her for a year next month. I have only taken her disc golfing a few times mainly because she can't be trusted off leash yet and loves squirrels. So I get a little paranoid about her running off if I happen to let her leash go on accident (has happened before). But I have taught her not to really like disc/frisbees so when the times comes for me to be able to take her I don't have to worry about her getting over excited about the disc. If interested there are a lot more of her at http://chrisandcandy.shutterfly.com/

Candy looks a lot like my dog Rascal. He is about 9 years old. I haven't taken him to a course yet because when I play it is either spur of the moment or I'm at school. His nose looks the way it does because he has lupus.
