Your body language with that dog was all "yeah, let's play keep away with this disc!" How long was she running around before you got it?

This is Rhyno, not mine... but he's there several times a week. He's training to be a show dog. He's a double registered Purple Ribbon, Blue Gotti Pitbull... or something along those lines.

Rhyno chasing a ball @ the Z's driving range.

Now, a shameless plug for his owners website:

$6 Shipping, no matter what. Ordered 18 baskets? That'll be $6 for shipping.

She had me running for about 10 minutes, when my wife came out with the video camra I was already dead tired.

@Midnight, my dog had the same thing happen with his back legs, but we had to put him down. 16 year old golden retriever. Probably wouldn't be the best disc dog either, very prone to ear infections (used to swim VERY often).

I want a dog again :(

Rhyno looks like a very happy dog out there in the park. My dog chases chipmunks and rabbits instead of balls. *sigh* Probably has something to do with her time as a stray. Recently she's found a couple of places in the park that she obsesses over. Probably where a couple of nice plump rodents have made their nests. Any advice on how to discourage the digging-for-a-rodent-meal behavior, other than keeping the leash in my hand?

have seen guys carry a beat up disc and throw rollers to their dogs before they drive. gets the attention off your discs while throwing.

This is my pooch Rosco. He's a great dog, never chases discs, doesn't bark, but he will assault you with his super aggressive tail wagging.

Consider yourself/your dog lucky. My first golden retriever(was a great dog) died at 8 years old, a week away from 9. Sixteen is pretty old for a golden, or any dog at that. Dogs do rule though :).

Ten of those sixteen were pure hell. That dog could chew its way through anything. But by the time he was older, he didn't have the energy to get in trouble. And he was more gray than golden. Oh well, a great dog and sorry about your loss.

Cleo on the way to the course.

Here's Peanut, she loves disc golfing, hiking, swimming, and really anything else outside, and she's played over 100 different courses with us.

what kind of dog is peanut? I have one that looks very similar that we got from a shelter and we arent sure what she is...we think jack russell mix and have been told feist mix but really have no clue lol

We got Peanut from a shelter too, we think she's a cocker spaniel and maybe chihuahua or some kind of terrier (we know the cocker spaniel for sure, the rest we're guessing on...).
