Dave Feldberg resigns from PDGA Board

What difference does it make if he resigned or would have been voted off? Get serious people and respect an individual's privacy. Dude is a hellofagolfer and has done and will continue to do more than for the game than anyone else who posted in these threads, myself included. This forum has become so salty nowadays.

Glad to see him gone from the PDGA. A man of his questionable morals has no business leading our sport. I have my own personal issues with Dave. That being said I can step back and appreciate everything he has done for our sport.

Thank you Dave for the life long commitment to disc golf. I look forward to the day you step up and become, not only a champion, but a respected leader of our sport again. I only wish the best for you.

What??? Please explain the apparent contradiction in you post.

Questionable morals? Please enlighten me, I was unaware that Mr. Feldberg had done something as to draw negative attention to himself...

lat 64 because they were the only company left that would sponsor me. i think hed have saved more face going rogue and staying independent but what do i know?

dont worry i already throw better than nine hundred golf.

so in a thread to thank him, we say he has "questionable morals" and was going to get booted by the PDGA. I am usually one of the more negative people on this site and even I am disgusted by the cheap shots.
Do you go to someone's Birthday party to tell them they are going bald and their wife is getting fat?

Only if they're a good friend. And their wife is actually getting fat.

But seriously. Leave it be.

I said collective rating, not individual rating. Good thing this forum isn't about reading comprehension.

Aside from playing it, what have you done for the sport? Anonymously insulting someone in a forum who's dedicated much of his life to the game doesn't count.

I heard Feldy was hooked up with Lance Armstrong and they were doing EPO together and that's why he is resigning.

But seriously Dave has literally done more for the sport than EVERYONE here combined (maybe except for a few like sadjo/biscoe/stan mcdaniel/etc). Good luck to him wherever he goes.

Agreed. If everybody put in ten minutes of practice for every negative thing they want to post, the collective rating of this forum might break 900.

I knew Dave from his early Am-1 days. Hell of a nice guy. And for a "Cool Story, Bro," moment, I was even on his card at the Great Lakes Open (maybe in '99?). I was having the tournament of my freaking life and I presume he was having a bad day. We're probably 3 standard deviations apart in skill now. :)

I remember throwing a Pegasus during that round...

Just because you dislike someone doesn't mean you can't respect them...

Yes sir. I can't stand the man. I don't agree with many of the things he did in the past. I've had nothing but problems with the man, but I do respect his game, and respect the positive influences he could have on the sport.

Look, I'm not gonna air any dirty laundry on a open forum. You are more than welcome to PM or call me if you would like me to tell my personal story. It's no secret, but I'm not gonna talk trash about a man who has the proven ability to be a good person. Everyone looses the path from time to time.

I have very few nice things to say about Dave. From my personal experiences with the man, I can conclude, that i'm extremely happy he is no longer in a position to make any decisions in-regards to the PDGA. I did not vote for DF.

I don't feel that I've handed out any "cheap shots". I have the up-most respect for DF as a player. He is extremely talented and I could only hope to gain 50% of the skill this man has on the DG course. I have had personal experiences that I choose not to air out anymore than I have on this forum.

Look at the facts. He is no longer with Innova. He is no longer with the board PDGA. The people he worked with most of 2012 (NSDG: Nonstop disc golf) are all on the Prodigy team besides him. He moved away from the collage and state that supported him for so many years. I don't claim to have all the answers or facts regarding all of the above.

To be fair, I would never show up to DF's B-day party, nor would I be invited. :p all of the above said, I still appreciate what DF has done for the sport I love. I don't like the man , I don't like some of his actions, but respect is due.

oh the old what have you done for the derp post.

im not gonna argue with you or publish a resume to justify the privilege of replying to the topic. ive put dave up a number of times. im a friend a fan. he knows how i feel and we both now ive been wrong before. meh.

i thought this was a topic for discussion. what have you done to be in the position to determine what type of comment someone else would find insulting?

Too much information.

Dave's not on the PDGA board anymore... OK. No biggie.

Dave is a great player... No kidding.

Dave is now with Lat64... probably a good move for him and Lat64.

Changing scenery and starting something new will usually improve anyone that does it. Good for Dave.

Slash thread.........this is stupid. Reality TV is better than these garbage threads......

The topic was to thank him for his years of service.

I wonder how many of these posts would be here if Dave Feldberg posted, I believe you would still have posted but a few others would not be insulting him to his face.
