While not really cool, this you tube video shows what can happen to a wooded course that gets a few inches of ice. The vid was made by another local DG'er, and was before I started playing. Keep in mind, we recieved no snow with this storm, although it looks like it. It was nothing but freezing rain, ice, and sleet. The storm shut down our area for a full week. My home was without power for 2.5 weeks, and some people were without for more than a month.

yea i know how you feel the courses out here got changed a lot, some got easier a few holes got harder though. that was a rough storm...no power for 2 weeks. I am just glad i had a house with 4 fireplaces and one was in my bedroom.

so what does the course look like now?
 
It looks much better. Fairways have been cleared, and there's still plenty of trees to keep it very challenging. When the city came in and cleaned up, they did a good job, but, there was a lot they just cut and pushed to the sides. So, if you don't land in the fairway's, you may, or may not find your disc. My only lost disc was at that course about a month ago. Tossed it into an area of broken branches, thorn bushes, and tall grass that was chest deep in spots.
