Just saw these for the first time over at Infinite.

Flight numbers of 13, 5, 0, 4

Sounds like a disc I could throw about one fiddy or so.

It seems to be a replacement to the now discontinued(though much beloved by me) Warhorse. I ordered two last night to see if it can work in that slot or if I need to plan to move on to a different mold eventually.

Saw Nikko on IG throw it. He was putting it on a steep anny and fought out and faded hard with a big skip at the end. Looks to beefy fast disc to me.

What were the flight numbers for the Warhorse?

Did they ever announce Westside's retirements? I don't see a couple of the more OS distance drivers on their 2021 Westside production prioritized list (Giant & Warhorse) that the Adder seems to overlap with. Specs look most like the 12 speed DD Enforcer and L64 Recoil so a little confusing to put 13 speed on it.

Kinda cool of them to craft a new mold up to suit his most recognizable shot. Tournament-X tour series for Nikko coming out next month. Maybe he is trying to consolidate his Distance driver slot to just one mold this offseason?

Warhorse hasn't been formally announced as OOP, but why would you need all three?

Giant had been produced this year for the Nikko run, so they are at least making some.

Just did some throws with Invictus, Warhorse, and Adder. I see a lot of similarity in how Invictus and Warhorse perform for me, ymmv. Different discs to be sure, but the function for me is the same--a wind-stable FH/BH distance disc. I throw it when it's strong HW or need a reliable anny flex that is sure to unwind at max power even with wind, and max safe distance.

Adder and Warhorse I got a chance to get some near identical releases. Both discs can absorb a ton of energy. On a low max-mph BH into a 10mph HW, both penetrated about 275' before going into the fade part of flight, and after contact both skipped twice, ending up about 325 to 350', within about 4' of each other. On a tailwind FH, Warhorse seemed to 'slice' the air a bit more, hard to describe it exactly. Warhorse went about 5' longer (about 330').

I think Adder is very comparable to the Warhorse, enough to invest in one. I think Warhorse might be the longer disc for the big arms, just a gut feel. But I can't throw that hard, so... For me, they are twins.

I was amused by Zackeriath Johnson pronouncing this like "otter" in the NW Arkansas coverage.

Nikko throws some extreme flex shots with this disc.

I felt these up at the local shop last week and yeah…super gross pop top dome…no thanks.

I loved throwing giants back in the day and saw the Nikko ones a few months ago and about barfed. Who knows, maybe he prefers big ole pop tops and that's why they came out the way they did?

On the same note though the (Clemons I believe) Verdicts had this extremely offensive super weird bulge snack in the middle of the disc. Typically verdict throwers want them flat?

I finally got a couple of Adders, and while the bottom with is basically identical to the Warhorse the top piece reminds me a lot of a PD2.

They have some some and a sloped wing that is like a less gross anhyzer top edge. Both of those factors should make me not like it, but they are nearly as OS as a Warhorse and straight bomb. Several throws in the 430-450 range and I don't even really have time to warm up.

Don't like it as much as the Warhorse, no.

Does it give Westside fans a valid option in that slot, yes.

It'd be cool if I could get a Stag or Northman from Westside. Or an Underworld, Pine, Longbowman, Tursas etc. Stuff normal people can throw. Back to Innova for me I guess...

Stags, I've started to see some. The Latitude store has a ton, so they will probably start being elsewhere soon.

I hate to make a recommendation to drop the Stag, because it used to be my favorite mold in the bag. But...if you really need to find a replacement from another brand then check out the DGA Pipeline. I did an exhaustive test to replace Stags back in the spring and the Pipeline was the clear winner.

If I drop the Stag I won't replace it, I've got Teebirds that are beaten in near that point and just would phase it out.

On two holes last weekend it did shots no other disc in my bag will do.

One of the bigger mistakes I have made is giving up my stock of Tournament Longbowman in the colors I throw. I thought I would try other things, but in the end, the Longbowman was what I wanted. Now they are impossible to find - at least the ones I want. However, I am growing on the Raptor in that spot, so I am going to stick with them.

I am saying that because right now I have a healthy stock of Warhorses. I have a seasoned one that I use for controlled bombing forehands and backhands when I need a solid finish. It is seasoned-in enough where I get the slightest of turns before leveling out. The remainder of my stock are relatively new, so they can take a little more wild power and still hold true. I like them; I really do.

So I will not be parting with any more of them. The Adder will have to be something special for me to change my mind.
