Android apps for Disc Golf?

Has anyone found any good disc related apps for android?

I use Golf Scorecard Lite on my T-Mobile MyTouch 3G to keep score while playing. It is really made for mini golf, but works well and defaults par 3 which is nice. Wish it could handle custom number of holes and more than 4 players.

I also have My Tracks which is a GPS app that lets you track elevation, distance hiked, speed, and put markers at tees and pins. Haven't figured out how to get distance to pin from it though.

And I found Interactive Flight Chart, but it is not very interactive, just a list of discs. It might not work with my phone. Anybody use this?

I still use AccelGolf app for scorecard, allows me to track up to 4 players and add custom number of holes (not beyond 27, must be sequentially numbered - no 14A, B)...

Allows me to enter in a course online and add it to my favs...easy to pull up.

Never tried the Flight Chart...but then, when I'm throwing stuff it doesn't do what it's supposed to anyway! :)

I've got the flight chart. I think the only way it is interactive is that you can search instead of just scrolling through. It's nice to have Joes Flight Chart at my fingers when I'm in a store deciding which piece of plastic to spend my money on.
And for scorecard, I have Easy Scorecard. I haven't been out to use it yet, but it looks like it will be pretty simple to input scores while I'm trying to play. Just downloaded that AccelGolf app, I love checking out new apps :D

another nod for accelgolf app keep track of what kinda shot or switch to just strokes. wish you could add players with out them being a contact or adding them which requires an email but other than that it's a nice app

any good apps for itouch?

if you mean ipod touch then yet just go to itunes and searh Disc Golf and buy the cartoonish looking one called Disc Golf by Sutibo Software...best score keeper for the ipod touch and iphone right now.

I use it on my ipod touch.

the interactive flight chart also allows you to put different colored dots next to the discs on the list. I like to mark which discs are in my bag so I can use the visual aid to determine which areas of the chart I could use more discs in. I also like to mark discs i've owned before and liked so I can see where I should explore more and try out

Just installed Easy Scorecard on my android phone. Seems disc golf friendly, allows more than 4 players, and has up to 27 holes. It also emails the scorecard to you and the other players. We'll see how it does out on the course.

Just installed "Shot Tracker". It is pretty cool. Uses GPS to track your shot distance. Has a disc golf setting with feet and also custom club names. It only takes a minute to delete all the golf clubs.

another vote for Easy Scorecard, I have the Pro version, but started with the early beta of the free one.

Very easy to use, and quick. Nice ability to share rounds via email/messaging, whatever. The Facebook share things never seems to work for me, but I'm too lazy to email the developer. It has been updated a lot with new features all the time until recently it has become quite stable and the updates have slowed.

I'll have to check out shot tracker!

I'm still holding my breath waiting for this app to come out...

Disc Golf App

Now if I can just convince the dev to have the scores auto-upload to DGCR...

I use the same one. It allows you to close the program in the middle (in case you get a phone call), it saves your scores so you can post them to do discgolf.com facebook and a few others.

It will give you your average for that hole and what what you got last time. Good for trying to figure out what you should be doing.

try my score keeper :)

Hi I've been learning a little bit of web programming and here is one of the web apps I've made. It works great thru Safari on the iPhone (and probably on the Android browser too, but I haven't been able to get my hands on one). And it's totally free! Try it out and let me know if it can be improved!

http://dgkeeper.appspot.com/

It is designed for an 18 hole course and as many players as you'd like. DGKeeper remembers the top 5 most used players and will not lose your scores if you exit/refresh the page. You can even email your scores to track your progress.

Looks like you put some time into that, but it seems you need to have an internet connection, which is often unavailable in remote courses.

I tried this on my MyTouch3G (android) and got the following error message: "Couldn't open the database. Please try with a WebKit nightly with this feature enabled". :(

Easy Scorecard Pro for Android is by far the best app out there. It has statistics month by month so you can track improvement and statistics for each course, including your average score and average score for each hole. It also allows you to add courses and par values for each hole. It also allows you to post rounds with a diagram to Facebook and Twitter as well. They also continually update the app as well. The UI doesn't compare to any other app. There is a free version, but they are no longer providing updates for it, so spend a few dollars and get the full version. I wish they would come out with an iPhone/iPad app. As for iPhone/iPad, the best app I have used is DG Caddy. For $5, the PDGA app is simply not worth it.

I currently use the free version of disc caddy on my Andriod phone. It lets me customize courses by number of holes, and par for each hole, and players. Ive used up to 6 players before. Havent tried more. Suposedly disc caddy 2 allows you to import course info from DGCR.

I'm currently looking for something that will double as a scorecard and I can use to track shot distance. Unfortunately I have not found one that seems to do both.

Easy Scorecard Pro has a feature that lets you set up the GPS to use a range finder to know your distances for each shot to pin.
