Who doesn't love Michael Jackson's rape face?

I will admit that they make great discs, in spite of the artwork

not, for the sake of decency on this forum. Hows it fly though? Heard many good things about the PD, will this DD2 deliver and further complicate the acronym alphabet soup disc golf is developing?

OLF, PD, 10x KC, JK, RR, Avenger SS (ASS... hehe), JLF, Omega SS, Gateway SSS, Pro D APX, DX, MD, TD, Z, X, what else?

I do not buy DiscMania discs because of those stupid, disturbing graphics.
Do all the DiscMania discs have the stupid graphic?
I know the Innova only does the pics on the DX, mostly the same with Discraft (I think they have done some graphics pics on some X discs).

Innova DX at least has a nostalgic charm to it...DM sells discs despite the artwork...I had a thread going b4 about how I wont use the plastic either and got chastised by the plastic snobs but if everytime Im reaching for a disc I gotta see that garbage my mojo is ruined and I'm all about my mojo. I guess they r going for the 9-12 yr old goobly goblin loving market.

:hfive:Agreed
I couldn't have said it better.

I'm no plastic snob. I have Gateway, Innova, Discraft, even Aerobie in my bag. However, I do not want to look at those trashy graphics or acetone them off, either.

The special plastics (non DX) do not have the art work. Or, at least, they didn't for the freak graphic. I own a S-Line DD that is plain. Be careful which one you want though; as I intended to get an S-Line PD. The DD is finding a place in my bag.

I'm honestly not bothered at all by designs on discs and am not sure how that can be affecting (effecting? I get those mixed up sometimes) your mojo?
And does anyone think that this disc looks more than a little like The Sandman?

I have some PDs, a couple First runs, which are a nice, clean, simple stamp. Not a fan of the Freak stamp. At least Innovas monster stamps are only on the DX drivers, which I don't use. The LOTR trilogy must have gotten to the marketing groups.

The DX I do use are the old school discs (Gazelles, Cheetahs, Teebird, Eagles, Whippets, Vipers) which are normal stamps, relatively speaking. At least these animals exist. And the Roc at least looks alot like something that does.

In general, I like simplier stamps that let me see the disc itself. LAT 64 are the best, IMO.

yeah, as a designer I wish I could have a hand at some of this stuff. Especially Vibrams Packaging... I hate it. I wish they would just put the weight and the X for Xlink, XF for XLink Firm, and XS for XLink Soft on the disc somewhere so we didn't have to deal with their silly packaging. As for the weight, the logo bottom of the logo provides a nice little dimple to write it in like they did with the protos...

Currently what keeps me from buying discmania is the stamps. The website and some of the other discs are really well designed when they're minimalist. But they had to go ahead and slop on that crap...

The first few treads I saw about DM stamps said how cool they were. I'm glad to see now some people feel like I do, that they are ugly. I said I wouldn't get DM discs because the stamps are so gross. I did eventually get a Freak and I really like the flight characteristics. I don't really notice or think about the stamp anymore. It's just another disc in my bag but hopefully DM will realize their stamps are a mistake.
