Personally, I think this hole plays 'longer' than 280', due to a slight rise in elevation and the berm just in front of the 'green'. With tree branches on both sides, I try to hyzerflip my flippy star Tern right up the gut.

The longest hole here, at 400', and just slightly left to right at the finish, Long arm lefties can have some fun, while rhbh throwers are looking for a driver to turn over (I have a beat in star Tern for this shot). After the pine on the right, you finish about 40 past and to the right of the knoll straight ahead. Be courteous of folks on hole nine, as attempts to get all the way down this fairway may fade in on them as they tee off and walk up their fairway.

Longer and more open, this hole repeats the dynamics of hole 5. I throw a Tern again (rhbh), aiming to keep it between the pines!

Ace run. You can see it. I can glide a Comet (rhbh) on a gently anny right down to the pin. The pine trees on the right , just past the basket, can sometimes even catch your overthrows and drop you in range for an easy deuce. As stated before, deuce or die!

Possibly the tightest line on the course, I try to run my straightest, glidey Tern up the right middle side of the fairway and let its fade (rhbh) bring me around the bend for a long look at two (wish I had 40-50 more feet of distance!)

The basket is slightly blind to the right around the pine and two knolls, but slightly downhill. My (rhbh) Fuse turns over nicely and glides pretty close to the line I need for this ace run, but not so fast it ruins my needed deuce. The course won't yield as many deuces as other Hamilton County parks, so get 'em while you can!

No problem running at this basket, but know that it paces out much closer to 255' than the plate's 225'. Right handers need to keep well to the right, as fades to the left drift and roll down the slope over the knoll, leaving an undesirably long putt. I go all the way to a Teebird here, but stronger arms won't go faster than a mid-range.

Uphill and sweeping to the left, I have to pull out my Tern (I;m rhbh) to get up and around with some glide and skip forward to the middle of the fairway for a long look at two. Witht this being your introduction to the dilapidated baskets on holes 2 through 8, be sure you don't leave yourself a long putt for three, because they do NOT catch well.

This 'lefty' hole (right handers: you have a decent forehand?) has a clean landing zone straight up the gut, so I try to drill a Fuse (rhbh) which will turn over and get past the bend and land just to the right and short of the knoll and pines, for a look at a long-ish upshot / putt.
