Hitting the gap is the most important part of this hole, but after that it is about staying on the trail to have decent footing and to maintain a workable angle for the birdie. I have as much luck going Fairway, Putter, Putter as I do with Putter, Fairway, Putter

This short hole is kinda a poke and pray. Which you only want to do once, so make sure you get into the screen of trees on your first shot. An easy hyzer with a midrange can often sneak up to the pin.

A blind hole with no fairway. I would suggest using a spotter. For RHBH I throw a high anhyzer and hope to miss the later guardian trees.

A very finicky putter turnover shot if you are throwing RH backhand. The last thing you want to do is go left or long on this hole. If you are playing in a group it makes sense to use a spotter

Easiest hole of all 18 at Rooster and you should be throwing a putter looking for an ace. A tree that used to partially block the basket has since sagged and opened up a direct shot. Beware the plants in the valley because it is filled w/ stinging nettle.

The easiest way to hit the green is to throw a tomahawk. This will almost always hit the green and often bounces you 20-30 feet away.
Another tactic is to throw a putter into the dense pine tree located beside the pin and have your disc fall to the ground below.

This is a very fun and tricky steeply downhill hole. The big tip on this hole is to stand right on the edge of the bad and throw as much straight down as possible, the hole is so short that it's much easier to throw long than to come up short. That said, try to avoid getting stuck on the side of the cliff right off the tee as discs can be hard to find.

This is a monster par 3, potentially one of the hardest in Oregon, and a common source of contention about this course. The biggest task off the tee is to simply get as far up the fairway as possible. Even experienced players will benefit from staying humble and just trying to thread a putter 180-200 feet up the fairway to set up for another very tight shot to the green. Any strong power drives risk ricocheting far into the dense trees on the right or left side of the fairway, opening the possibility of a 5 right off the bat.

This is a blind shot off the tee, hole goes up a small rise for the first 80 feet, then dives down into a small "bowl" of trees with the basket on the far end of the bowl. Spotter is *highly* recommended on this hole as discs can easily get stuck in ferns.

This hole can be a bit confusing for people who are playing Rooster East for the first time, the hole is blind, what you're shooting for is the gap at the start of the forest. You can see a path going from the open field up into the forest, this path leads to the pin. Definitely a tough two-shot hole, aim to land at the gap, and shoot to the hole from there.
