The path to the right is usually the OB line in tournaments, and a good place to avoid anyway, if other park patrons are blissfully walking out there. Air out the big dog (for me, twice), and know that a three is respectable on a 600 footer. I've seen open players throw long, bombing rollers here with success, but have yet to see any monster arms parking this bad boy.

I've never seen the tee on the right used here. A tight line with my fairway driver (rhbh) sometimes brings me luck and a look at the basket, if I've avoided nasty tree kicks.

Tricky fairway that still has a bunch of trees to deflect you. I have had my best success here with a River thrown rhbh, because it has good glide for my slower arm, yet still will fade gently to the left at the end. The few times I avoid hitting trees, I sometimes have a look at the basket for an unlikely deuce. Threes are definitely the norm for competitive players here due to the tight lines.

The basket is just left of the fairway you can see here, so a rhbh mid to fairway driver just inside the mid-fairway tree can make for an ace run or park you for a deuce.

The 14th fairway starts straight and finishes with an added 80-100 feet angling off to the right, so a proficient rhfh is very useful. Wish I had one. I go under stable fairway again (rhbh), but it's not the best. Check as you walk up from 13 to be sure any groups ahead of you have cleared, and aren't just in the woods looking for tree-kicked discs.

Reversing 12, and running quite a bit longer, most right handers throw a forehand shot here, but an under-stable mid to fairway anny also works. There's an arching branch to define your window. It's safer to go too straight than to hook too hard right (lots of thick woods over there).

This shot fades fairly sharply right to left, and just over the muddy creek bed. You need to pick your line through a number of trees. I grab an over-stable mid and throw left of center for a goodly share of deuces whenever I try this one.

Maybe Turtlecreek's signature hole, most mortals try to take this one in bites. Personally, my first shot is an under-stable fairway to hopefully get to & just around the bend. A good approach & putt for three would be awesome (4's on this hole are really common). I suppose an absolutely perfect lhbh hyzerflip might get further down the 2nd lane, but I haven't seen it done, myself.

Like hole 1, the wall of honeysuckle on the right is disc purgatory. Go ahead and throw a driver, even if you fade (rhbh) all the way over toward the 18th fairway, for a clean upshot.

Getting cleanly off the tee here, without too hard a finishing fade (rhbh) may best be accomplished for better arms with a mid, and for us weaker ones with a fairway driver.
