Don't be a dummy and not check the fairway on this one, like I did. There is a pond as you approach for the basket. This is a wonderfully designed hole as it forces you to go for it.
There's an OB fence behind the basket down the hill. So not only do you have to worry about being short and in the pond, but you don't want to throw too long and end up OB either.
Make sure you're throwing to the correct basket from this teebox. You'll likely see two baskets: #19 and #17. The one you want for this hole is the one on the right. Don't play to the wrong one and end up with a two stroke penalty. :-(
The distance to the landing zone off the tee is 126'. Try your best to get right there because 10' too long or too short can leave you with virtually no good second shot.
If you don't want to risk throwing all the way over the water, then a RHBH anhyzer shot with a midrange will usually get you in position for a short upshot to yield an easy '3'.
This hole is 98% luck with innumerable trees blocking your path. If you've got the arm for it, try going over the top as most discs will drop to the ground and avoid any 2M penalties. Otherwise a roller is your best bet.
As you get closer to the basket the left side rough is pretty thick. So despite the multitude of trees on the right, that's the better side on which to be.
Blind basket here. To gauge your distance to the basket when it's in the short position look for the plastic bunny. The bunny is pin high and points to the basket.
