Hole #9 is a dream-come-true for RHB and LHF throwers. There is a big curve left after about 150 ft., and if you can send your drive right down the open fairway to the right, let your disc break naturally and there is no way you don't finish this hole with par.

Regardless of how you may interpret the picture of hole #8, the difficulty is very misleading. If there is a hole at Jack Mattox where you really have a good chance at finishing in two, it is hole #8. There are many trees, but the majority run down the middle of the fairway. Regardless of how you drive, I am predominately RHB, you have a good chance of landing within 10 yards of the basket.

Hole #7 begins the final three wooded holes, and when I first played the course #7 was difficult to work with. Trees line the fairway, and even the slightest bit of curve will send your disc off in a new direction. If your tomahawk/hammer drive flies like mine does, I recommend giving it a try. You may not get close enough for a birdie, but I have found that a tomahawk drive will set you up well for an easy mid-range approach.

Unfortunately, there is no picture yet to display what hole #6 looks like, but truly it is very similar to hole #5 with just one caveat... it's even longer! Again, throw your disc far and straight, but this hole is significantly harder to birdie on. Take a relaxed approach shot that drops right under the basket and end with a par.

This hole is wide open! This is a long hole, about 240 feet, but throw your disc that'll go long and straight and there is a good chance you can hole-out with a nice birdie.

As challenging as hole #4 is, it is personally one of my favorites. There is no struggle-free way to approach this hole, consider 8 trees form somewhat of a wall in front of the basket. Hitting a tree is not uncommon, so prepare for what may need to be a strategic mid-range approach. In addition, for those drives that start right and break left, be weary of the large tree just to the right of the tee box.

Hole 3 is wide open, just asking for an easy par! No player should have any problems with this hole. There is a slight downhill to the right of the basket, so if your discs are known to roll, aim a little further left.

A very fun hole which, for the advanced player, can be more than easy to birdie is right here. If you are right-handed like myself I recommend a RHF drive and LHB for the left-handed player, really anything which can go far and break right. Be weary of the couple large trees which line the right side of the basket.

I recommend using a hammer/tomahawk throw on this hole. There are two trees that the player must be aware of; as seen in the picture, the first is to the right and the second to the left. Most holes here are not long distance, so look for a straight shot just to put you in the fairway and this hole can be a more than easy par, possibly birdie.
