If you can get this far enough to clear the edge of the cliff then you're usually good. If you flick it and it goes too far right you could be in trouble if it clears the cliff though.
Besides the obvious of avoiding the crevasse, you will also want to avoid flicking it all together. It's hard rock on the other side with little or nothing to stop it from skipping off the edge of the cliff. If it does happen to you may as well re-tee.
