This is the only hole on the course that requires a strategy when its in the long.

Try to set yourself up to land in the middle between the pond bank and the short pin so you have room to make your second shot. If you end up tight on either side you are going to waste a stroke.

Fail left rather than right because it is so thick over there you are almost certain to have to pitch out.

If you can see what pin position the basket is it will help you make a better choice as to what side of the trees you want to be on. If it is in the short or long try to get between the trees and land in the open field on the side of the red tee.

If it is in the middle position, try to stay left. This will keep you from having to "cut back" when you could be taking a straight shot.
