A lot of folks get frustrated with this tight, right-turning shot being the finishing hole, but it's clearly a control anny down the fairway for rhbh players (a Comet would do very nicely, thank you), followed by a controlled upshot (down the hill) to the short basket position guarded by the creek, beyond.

Short tee to short basket is a Buzzz fade shot for my rhbh arm. For most competitive players, this is a putter ace run. The long basket will be a bigger challenge, especially if the big trees on the right are deemed mandos.

Two key points about 16 from the current (short) tee: there are often winds out in the open you can't feel from the tee, and once you get to the base of the mound for your upshot, it's a little bit of an optical illusion as to the length to either basket position. I personally have to rip a nice drive at the center of the gap, and need another good fairway drive to reach even the short pin. The ultra-long tee to long pin (1117 feet!) is a whole different animal!

Dead straight, and long for its width, I throw a River here for its glide. In tourneys, you need to eat up at least half the length before fading left, as the 14th fairway is OB for 15. If you go longer, and fade left, you might struggle with the creek and some nasty rough further left.

A glider beauty of a hole, 14 takes an Underworld for me (rhbh), thrown firmly, and just to the right of the bushy tree at the bend. Cut too hard right, and you're blocked by the trees just blind from the tee over there. The creek is usually played OB in tourneys, and should be observed anyway if anyone is on the hole in front of you.

Grip it & rip it, if you've got the D to ace-deuce run this open shot. The only hazard is the left side, thorny rough (and maybe the soybean plants on the right, in season).

Dual fairways give everybody a chance to think they've got it going here. But even if you thread the line well, you usually have one or two of a dozen or more guardian trees protecting the green on the far end. I try to gently fade (rhbh) my Tern down the right side fairway.

Truly a signature hole, and even with the clearing of the underbrush at the bend, hole 11's best tee shot may be a lhbh (or rhfh) flex shot, if you've got it. As a rhbh dominant thrower, I often settle for a teebird fading left to the clearing at 250-300' around the bend, and hope for a clear line down the 'second' fairway to either pin position. For most mortals, a four here is not a bad score.

If the basket is in the short position, throw a controlled tee shot that can fade hard left just over the ravine. In the longs, something more firm and straight is needed.

I pull out a dependable, predictable driver here (for me: rhbh: a Tern), and try to throw a gently fading shot, ideally well past the ravine for a look at the basket. A lot of folks need to scramble after tree hits on this hole.
