When the pin is in the close position, a good ace run is to use a stable fairway driver and hug the tree on the right...let the disc fade to chains.

The first tree of the teepad is a disc killer. Either keep your disc low, or go for the sky-high hyzer. best to land on the teepad side of the creek, or you will be in 11s fairway.

Long (for the course) straigth fairway with creek on the left and trees to the right. big arms should be able to stretch their fairways out to reach the pin. Tactic: stay in the fairway, don't go OB.

Reclamation area is now roped off in the middle of 1's fairway. Be polite and if you throw into it, tread lightly to get your discs.

When throwing from the am tee, the best approach is a tight forehand. Shoot the gap between the last trees before the pin and you will be sitting pretty.

The am tee is a fun approach if you don't have the big arm for the pro tee. There looks to be a tree in the way thirty feet in front of the basket...throw a mid or putter tight right of the tree for an ace run.

While this is the last hole, us locals have created the unofficial "19th hole" to finish the round. Head to the left of the playground where you see a couple of benches, and a long teepad-like stretch of sidewalk. tee of from there and aim at the practice basket to really finish your time at Widefield!

The pin is hard to see from the teepad in the "A" position. It's actually on the other side of the hill. The "B" position requires some serious tree-dodging, but is aceable.

Another hole where the AM tree is actually harder, due to no good lines to take and several low-lying trees in the way. The pro tee is a good chance to just bomb it out there.

Tricky hole, with lots of trees to contend with close to the basket. There are various tunnel lines about 100 feet out...keep your drives low.
