This is less of a tip and more of me giving you a different look at the hole. One thing that some of us locals to is we get an over stable distance driver and throw it as high as possible and to the right of the first tree. Do this forehanded very lightly on a flex line. It will start out headind left but then it will flex back for an ace chance. I wouldn't do this as your first shot, but it is fun to try.

If this hole is in the long, which it has been for about a year now, there are two approaches you can take if you want to get a 3 on the hole. The first is for people with a big arm. You will see a tree at the bottom of the hill that makes a Y shape. Throw an over-stable disc throught the split in the Y and it will set you up nicely. Secondly you can throw low with something over-stable towards the OB path on the right side of the fairway. If you do this right you can get the disc to skip around the corner. at the worst this will give you a mid range hyzer shot for your approach.

The best thing you can remember on this hole is to not go long when trying to make the turn. This is because there is a pretty deep dich with thorn bushes all in it. Other than that it is a pretty simple hole.

From the tee, if it is your first time, it can be hard to decide what approach to take. I have played this course 50 plus times and have only birdied it once, but I have found that a low skip shot with an overstable fairway driver can work very well. Oh I almost forgot, what I just said is if the basket is in the long. If it is in the short then it is way easier.

Unless you believe you can put your drive within putting range, it is better to over shoot the basket then under shoot it. This is because, for some reason that I still can't figure out, if you are putting downhill at the basket if you miss there is a 90% chance of a role away. So imo it is better to putt up at the basket.

No matter what you do STAY LEFT! On the right side of the fairway is a huge wooded drop off.

Although you may be tempted to unleash a bomb on this hole considering that it is one of the only long holes on the course, you may want to play your drive for placement. The fairway is narrower than it looks and if you get in the rough there is hardly any chance of getting a 3. If you do go for the rip be sure you are confident of your ability to place long drives were you want them to end up.
