Short but sweet
- It's a decent little course...probably just a warmup for most people.
- Each hole has it's own challenges.
- The rubber tee pads are OK as long as they are dry.
- No tee signs.
- No scorecards.
- No map (but a map really isn't necessary, so not too bad of a con).
- Rubber...

Asheville's Signature Course
*Update as of 2/26/12 - I guess this occurred sometime over the past couple days but there is now a new alternate basket location on Hole #6. I'd guess it's about 175' fade left...but here is the kicker...the basket is raised up so the bottom is about 8' in the air...

Great course
- Nice mix of open vs. wooded holes. Also a decent variety of uphill, downhill, flat and left/right shots.
- Beautiful campus.
- Green baskets. It's hard to see some of them. Most of them at least have a small orange flag to increase visibility somewhat.
- Natural tees (which in...

Tornadoes!
- Decent variety of holes/shots.
- Beautiful campus.
- Wind. Lots of wind almost always out in Brevard. Not enough wooded holes to cut the wind although it's not as bad from #11 through #14. The mascot of BC is The Tornadoes if that tells you anything.
- The rough is really rough...

sore ankles!
- It's very likely that you'll use almost every shot in your arsenal.
- Incredibly beautiful campus!
- Most of the tees are a perfect size. I like the concrete ones best.
- Lots of sidehill walking = sore ankles.
- Every fairway that is on a significant sidehill is banked right...

Love it!
- I love the front 9 although I loved the old original 9 even more (see other thoughts). The carpeted tees here seem to not be nearly as slick as the the ones at Richmond Hill. Easy flow to the course for the most part and the signage is plentiful enough.
- One of my favorite holes...

Nice little 9-hole course
- Well designed and executed 9 hole course.
- I love the tee boxes. It's awesome how they are open ended on the back side.
- It isn't immediately clear how to get from #4 to #5. Get a map and you should be good.
- Some steps or grading going down the hill to #5 would...

Surprising!
- Wide variety of holes. Hole #14 is awesome! One of my favorite holes I've played in WNC.
- Overall it's a flat course. I think there are only 2 holes that change elevation significantly. A flat course is a nice change of pace for being in the mountains.
- Some of the tees (that...

Not a bad HS course
One of the main things I look for in a course is a nice variety of shots...none being too difficult or too easy. I think this modest course fits this description.
I dislike how the course uses some of the baskets twice. I don't hate this practice in general but I don't think...

meh
Not much to say here that hasn't already been said. Too much unrealized potential here.
This course is not worth playing for me. Even if it were the closest course I'd probably drive further to play a better course such as Richmond Hill or Black Mountain.

Putter's Paradise
It's a nice place for first time players to get the feel of throwing discs. Also a good place to practice your short game no matter your experience level.
Very short course. You'll be very bored if you come here expecting a real challenge.
I'm not even a very good player so...
