I just saw this thread and thought that Millenium was coming out with a new plastic starting with a W, and making the Orion LF in it. It took me a little bit to realize, oh, yeah, wolf, like howl at the moon....ok.
I do know one guy who throws these for a lot of midrange shots. They are more...
Current setup:
drivers:
170g Champ Wraith - understable long distance
170g Star Destroyer - straightish long distance
172g Star Destroyer - overstable long distance
174g Champ Firebird and 174g Star Firebird - overstable fairway driver, skipshots, overhand shots - use both about equally...
I've been using my Destroyers for a little over 2 months now. I had given up on Wraiths and TeeRexes (and I didn't find the TeeRex-X to be that stable...) and was using Avengers for distance. (Max with X Avengers was probably 410-420, 380-390 with Z.) I found the 1st Destroyer I got (a 170...

If you're a first time member, or are renewing after a 5-year (i think) absence, and you renew after September 1st, it will carry through the whole next year. You should be covered. I help run a big A-tier the second week of September (for which you have to be a member) so we get this a lot.
I'm testing out a new setup right now. It's way more discs than I'm used to having, but there's a lot of stuff I want to try and I think I've been limiting myself too much. I think disc minimalism is a great thing, but I think I went too far for a bit when I could've had a couple more discs...
Another cool thing with a grenade (assuming righthanded like me):
If you throw it with something really understable with severe hyzer (as in, straight up and down), it will act like you threw a lefty hyzer.
I throw this with a super beat up Pro TL. Where an overstable disc will come straight...
Last week at the USDGC, I played several rounds between qualifying and spectator day and threw several discs in the water.
1 - The Star TL I bought a year and a half ago when they were first released. Beat in perfectly. I could do anything with it. Wormburned it on hole 5 right into the...
Last night I got a chance to play the 9 temporary field holes that will be in for the tourney. They are definitely killer -- about 5500 feet for the 9, coming in at par 36. Only 2 deuce opportunities (no matter how big your arm is), but lots of chances for birdie 3s and 4s.
