    Disc Golf Network

I'm sure there are at least a couple of ways to look at it. But the new DGN pricing model of tiered access gets under my skin. They have taken something that they offered for less than 8 bucks a month and turned it into a convoluted hodgepodge of 3 different access levels ranging from $6 to...

What you think of Electric Scooters on DG courses?

If you have a medical reason to assist with mobility, go for it. If you'd just rather take it easy, then please don't. One thing I think most DG'ers enjoy is the peace and quiet of the course. But I also believe that virtually every DG'er would completely support someone with medical issues...

    Just for fun?

Yeah, I caught that too! LOL. Grunge helped pass the time!

    Just for fun?

Yes!!! That's what got me. Last night after work I went and played 18 in under an hour. The tourney took 8 hours. And I didn't even win swag in the raffle.

    Just for fun?

Okay, I've tried a couple of ways to approach DG and want to know if others have gone through the same type of changes. At first, I played for fun. No clue about proper form. But I grew up in the 70's, so you know I played with a frisbee almost every day. Then covid hit and I watched a ton...

UDISC ups price to $30/year - does DGCR still have a free mobile app for scorekeeping?

I had it. It's a cute app. But you can use 3 or 4 different web sites for free to find courses. So no value there. You can keep score in your head. So no value there. You can measure your practice throws when you walk to your disc by counting your steps. So no value there. You can...

whats up with the lack of Waco thread

DGN created a thread. You have to pay for access. You can't edit anything, or read anyone's posts unless you have a DGN membership and agree to "grow the sport" by giving them money for things that two years ago were free.

The increasing advent of Elbow Injuries ...

The benefit of being a weekend warrior is that you don't throw enough to wear out your machinery. These guys play nearly year round, have rough schedules which puts a strain of self-care, etc. Feel for them. But, it's the competition that drives the performance improvement stuff. If not...

    [Axiom] Flippy midrange reccomendations?

A lot depends on personal things of course, but, I adore the Wombat3. Once it's worn in, it'll turn over perfectly for you on mid range shots. I have 2, both 170g, one 4 years old and flippy as all get out, and a 1 year old that's perfectly worn in for hyzer flips for my throwing style.

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

You used to be able to pause and watch. They took it away and then brought it back with a higher charge to access that feature.

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

Well put. Same here. Ate up Jomez and others during covid. Not so much into watching the tourney's offered. Definitely not into what DGN has done to their model. Two years ago you could pause and ff, they took that away. Like all MBAs, they only think of how to take something that at one...

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

    Well this didn't age well.

Putting and how to become elite level.

The thing that ended up helping me the most was to quit putting at a basket and start putting at micro targets. Tried the front door knob from 20' or so for practice. When I go out and am warming up, I pick a sapling and aim for a knob on it. Go micro. When tee'ing up a putt on the course...
