Come prepared or don't bother
This course offers many holes on and around the ski hills. It is basically far left uphill to the hardest course. Eagle on the ski hills I think. Then the more flat course which is impossible to get to without having someone drive you up the hill and pick you up...

Worth a stop
Easy to locate
Easy to navigate
Port-a-potty at parking lot
Nice area and grounds were well maintained.
Long walk back to car
Not much shade
Short holes and ace runs added to the fun. Most maintained course of the 9 hole courses in Duluth.

Still awesome!
Great course. Was in summer layout (adding 20A and 20B and removal of 2 beach holes for summer usage). Great folks. Well Maintained. Technical course. $10 fee.
Hard to come up with any.
I had been wanting to visit this for the last 20 years.

Love this course
Loved this course. We drove past it because GPS not accurate but saw #1 tee pad. This course seemed in the middle of nowhere yet maintained and perfect.
GPS may not get you to the parking lot. A bit of a walk back to car.
Worth a stop if you like technical courses.

Nice course
Really liked the first 6 short holes thru the woods. The middle section also enjoyable. The last 4 were long and open which was tiring at the end of a round in full sun on a hot day.
Course in very good condition.
Long walk back to parking lot

Great 9 hole course!
This course was a pleasant surprise.
Easy to find course.
Navigation easy although hole #1 sign missing.
More length than usual for a 9 hole course and like the two woods holes.
Definitely worth a stop if driving thru town. Great to see a course from 1988 in this good...

Fun technical Course
We play this course regularly. It is very short but many challenges for accuracy. There are buildings that come somewhat near the fairways but I have never hit anything/anyone. Water runs thru and several holes comes in play especially throwing #3. We play weekdays and...

My local course
Course is a semi circle from parking lot. First tee along wall near basketball court. For a 9 hole course, this offers good variety, length, and challenging winds. Water comes into play on two holes.
Safe area with plenty of soccer, baseball and walkers.
Parking lot is between...

Beautiful
Loved this course for its beauty and scenery.
It is very established so clear fairways
and the rough is not too bad.
Had trouble finding correct lot - follow the sign to the Day Use area. The nice guard at campground helped us.
Great course. I want to go back soon!

Clearly a championship level course
Just had trouble finding where to park and hole #1.

Incredible
I agree with everything posted. Great scenery. Awesome big throws with elevation.
Lots of hiking and loose rocks to watch for.
Did not see anyone else playing on weekday morning.
Had to drive to 220 Main St. to pay the $5. It was a general payment box so we just added cash. I...

So much fun!
We just loved it! Beth was great, took our call in morning on our way. Luckily a morning without low air quality due to wildfires in area.
Several holes near remains of the old mining town.
It did take 3 full hours and we are normally faster than average.
Be prepared to hike...

Nice place to stop!
Tough to rate course as we enjoyed the animals tremendously. Must have been 15 Bison and 20 Elk behind fence that you can walk up to.
We found signs and baskets but were focused on the animals.
Worth a stop to stretch and play a few holes.
Map would be needed to find...

Good Course
Course is well maintained with good signage. All holes playable. We enjoyed the scenery.
The few holes near river were a bit rough (long grass, uneven walking).
Updating review since none since 2018.
