-Beautiful desert setting

-decent layout and hole designs
-plenty of birdie oppurtunities

-Big elevation changes
-Good distance on most holes
-Easy freeway access
-Nice tees and pins (multiple locations)
-Often gets very windy in the afternoons
-Poison oak off some fairways (and in the isolated pockets on the course)
-Freeway does not help course aesthetics

Don't go out of your way
-If you approach it as the equivalent of a 'pitch-and-put,' it may be worthwhile.
-Good baskets.
-Located in a decent park; lots of greenery.
-Way short. Only on a couple of holes will you need a driver.
-Other park users in the middle of some holes.
