New course is great
The revamped Highland Road DG course is very welcomed. The old course was a real hassle. New course is really nice, concrete T-pads, new baskets, hundreds of small trees planted, new walk bridges. Water hazards have been minimized (thank you) They actually have good maps...

Not much fun for newbies
Beautiful state park, nice employees, lovely walk through the woods to play. Before you read the cons, may I say the design of the course is really nice, but the briars and brambles will force anyone not wanting to lose a disc or two, or three, into not taking any...

Nice place during the week
Beautiful park by the Gulf. Bathrooms, plenty of parking. Course is clean except for a few muddy baskets around 6. It has just rained the day before, so this may not be typical. On some holes you can see the Gulf. 2019 update: Seldom have muddy areas around...

Constant course modifications without a map to show non-locals the layout
Beautiful park and lake. During the week, very little traffic and no other golfers.

The office did have an updated map, but it's still difficult to find basket 14 based on the t-pad graphic. Will work on a new map and upload this week. Does anyone ever read this stuff?

Print the map before you go
Nice, clean course with bathroom nearby. PBJ park is really pretty, so scenery is a bonus. T's are well-marked, but natural pads are a bit rough. Map on DGCR is accurate. That said, there is a 10th basket at the spillway that isn't listed. Apparently it's...
Playing Desert Fox this week and hope they'll have some updated maps at the office. Seems like the course is laid out differently every time we go. Beautiful course, but aggravating when you don't know which hole is which.

Lake Lincoln State Park Magnolia Cove
Beautiful state park. The course winds through a relatively dense forest area. Baskets 3 and 12 are on the side of roadways in the park. Everything else is fairly rugged. There was virtually no mud or water anywhere. Walking conditions okay, but there...
