Sorry for the bump, but they are still butchering this course up. Wish they'd leave it alone and keep it challenging. More clearing on hole 5, middle bushes removed on hole 13 (why??), and the main obstacle to the hole on 18 is gone.

always thought that Townsend would be a great spot for a course

they had one alt hole done between 4 and 5 but the basket was stolen 2 days after it was done :( a few other holes are cut out (and look really nice), but im not sure if they are making it a 24 holer or adding 18 new ones across the street

Anyone know what they are doing to this course? When will they stop removing trees and bushes? Hole #5 used to be a monster, really tight uphill. But they've almost completely opened this hole up now. What for? Hole #3 looked a little cleared as well on the back side Wish they would stop...

i havent played a lot mentioned except ann arbor. grand rapids, mi has 6 pretty good courses within 25 miles. then 1 hour away is ludington: flip city, leviathan, mason complex, saugatuck, and a few more good courses.

it's playable, 18 holes. only holes 1 and 3 (now #2) of the original course are the same, the rest is all new

9 basket/18 hole course Duke's Campground in Cedar Springs, MI (15-20 min north of grand rapids) I think it's $5 to play but you get to use the showers/pool or something. About time northern GR got a course, the south side sucks.
