Ridiculously difficult
Well kept up, difficult if you want it.
When you get like 8 holes in or so it turns into a hell of trees and brush if you don't know the holes. It's pretty difficult to navigate and the maps are a little hard to read to here you a lot of times have no idea where to throw...
I've got one that I bought back when I was newer with the intent on throwing some more control shots with it, but I didn't find it to work that great, and the edge of the grip on mine (star) was like painfully sharp. I ended up actually sanding it down and it felt not great to hold still...
So i tried some sidearm and backhand techniques for a little while today. After putting my elbow first it made a HUGE difference to where I don't feel really any pain, as well as I was able to get some decently steady throws. I did just standing throws for a while, and I think i will continue to...
Thanks for the video! Thankfully I have a field right next my house so I'll try practicing them as well as normal power grip tomorrow. I know I've got a shark and some similar discs lying around, so I'll bring them with me.
Yeah sidearm is realllllly bad for me. I've tried doing a few different techniques with it, and the best I can get so far is an extremely wobbly 100 feet. Not only that but I feel like I'm really doing something wrong because my tricep/bicep area (if i'm remember the spot right) feels terrible...
Good afternoon!
I'm fairly new to disc golf. Been going for about a year, but only around the last 6 months that I got sort of serious with it.
I started out using the normal power grip, thumb out and all four fingers curled in. I wasn't great and always ended up with way too much hyzer. So...

Not bad, but simple
Fun little course next to a nice dog park. No huge hazards or terribly confusing holes. Seems pretty quiet aside from the cars. Not much walking needed
Next to the highway
Course is really simple. Most of the hazards are poles in the ground. Wish it had more pins or something...

Great quiet course
If you're in the military looking for a mostly quiet, well kept up course this is pretty good. Decent variety, not a crazy amount of walking or any water hazards.
Variety is decent but a lot of the shots look the same without much weaving. A good amount of hazards are just...

Short but amazing course
Phenomenal community around it.
The course is easily accessible. Great variety of shots that aren't too ridiculous or too likely to lose you a disc. Well upkept, in a great part of town.
Some holes are pretty short (though great for me because i'm a terrible driver)
