[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Part VI)

The OTB Open ones are proton soft, still no stock release. They did put some neutron ones up the other day as the third release on their pro shop. Haven’t checked to see if they’ve sold out. Played league with a dude last week throwing a circuit challenge tempo. He didn’t have a huge arm...

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Part VI)

Gambled and didn’t preorder because I wanted to be able to select based on appearance. Grabbed two of the tempos and servos right at release last night. Wouldn’t mind a glitch and hex but figured as heavily as both molds have been pushed the last year that I could wait for feedback before...

Music City Open presented by Lone Star Disc

This is why we don’t need gambling in dg. Obviously he’s tanking so he can putt lights out when his putter drops and boost sales. On an unrelated note. Simon winning Eagle’s slated return…you know Simon threw some trash talk Eagle’s way after the win.

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

I really dislike seeing draft kings ads all over the place now, just want until we start getting ads from all the dg betting sites.

    The Open At Austin

Niklas just looked so good all weekend. No offense to the Euro’s, but aside from Kristin it’s been all hype with the inability to play at the highest level for an entire tournament. I’m hoping he sticks around at the top, more contenders makes everything better. Although Eveliina already...

whats up with the lack of Waco thread

I didn’t mind Laco as much compared to some of the other ball golf courses on tour. It was nice seeing some different faces on the top couple cards. Can’t complain when the win comes down to the last hole. Just sucks seeing somebody run away with it and the last 9 holes not meaning anything.

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Part VI)

Yeah, within 20 feet I don’t think it putts a lot different than the wizard. I release with the tiniest bit of hyzer with more of a push putt. Where I’m really liking it is in the 25-40 foot range. The extra float and straightness feels like it takes less effort to get it to the bucket, and...

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Part VI)

Putted two more rounds with the pixel this weekend over the wizard. Still has more glide and less fade. Played at a short heavily wooded course and had a couple of obstructed putts from behind a tree where the only play was a soft stall lob hyzer putt. Pixel didn’t fade back left enough...

To me the nose on the pixel feels a bit more bullet shaped where the wizard’s nose is a bit tighter and more radiused if that makes sense. Honestly when I felt the pixel the first thing I thought was DM p1x.

I didn’t feel up the firms when I was at the shop on initial purchase because I figured they’d be too stiff in winter weather. Went back a few days later and they only had a couple firms left but they were white cores, didn’t feel too slick. Keep in mind I’m 45 minutes from the Gateway factory...

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Part VI)

Picked up a medium and soft pixel a few weeks ago and finally played with them this weekend. Normally push putt with supersoft wizards for reference. Depth wasn’t an issue at all but I’ve got pretty large hands. Very glidey compared to a wizard and didn’t have as much fade on longer putts...

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

Yeah I’m not sure how I feel about that. I understand having stats allows players to see how they stack up, but in reality most pros know where their strengths and weaknesses are. I definitely see stats adding value to the broadcast side of things. Stats need to be consistent and reliable for...

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

Right, that’s what I’m getting at. There are obvious issues with players inputting their own stat data, so makes sense to have a volunteer do it. But if you have a volunteer inputting stat data you might as well have them keeping score also. Just seems like the two ideas were independent of...

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

So as far as the new pdga rule where everybody has to keep track of score, are the players inputting all their data for the stat tracking also or will there be volunteers doing it at DGPT events? Seems like a pain to make players do it while inputting scores but also seems silly to make players...

    DGPT - Resistance is futile

Lolololollll reddit is nothing but people complaining about DGN. To be fair a lot of the complaints are dumb stuff that is obvious they didn’t read through the details of the various tiers and know exactly what they are getting. Biggest legit complaints seem to be some devices not supported...
