Heckscher park is located on the beautiful south shore of Long Island along the Great South Bay.

Fun in the sun
On a nice day there is nowhere else I would rather be.
The people at the front desk are amazing. I have never had anything but a good experience dealing with any park worker, including the people at the front parking toll.

I'm assuming a lot of improvements have happened in the last year or so.
Every hole had at least one concrete tee. Multiple other tees for beginners. We went on the first warm day in may, so sometimes we needed to use the other tees to avoid pedestrians.
