Critique my righty and lefty backhands

Hey Checking in after a while, would appreciate your opinions. Also I tried to just smash one here, unfortunately not fully in camera:

Hey I am interested in how much would a private lesson/advice cost? I am most interested in what to prioritise in my form development. Best wishes Diskimees

    Drive Leg Mechanics

Thanks for the reply. It does make sense and also creates new questions. Paige's drill becomes more confusing: is it about learning the brace then? Because she forcefully pushes her weight to the plant leg, but I should not do it forcefully even before the actual swing happens?

    Drive Leg Mechanics

Really appreciate all the responses. The Diggs gif resonates with me, in that example I can understand the logic behind the drop better. But to further understand: I expect the disc golf move needs more weight shift compared to the last step moving into the directional change in the Diggs move...

    Drive Leg Mechanics

I have not yet read through all of this thread so I am sorry if this question has been asked before. I have trouble understanding the relationship between pushing myself forward and dropping into the plant/squat. In post #1 of this thread there is this gif with Paige Pierce...

Here they are. I do throw them to the right a lot of the time, does not happen on shorter throws. https://youtu.be/zV-X5LUL_7s https://youtu.be/xtEldwK-n-0

Have been working on the butt wipe. I am starting to understand what is expected, but cannot fully complete the wipe yet. Is this any better? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3Ux8Zx95Xs

And was the straightening of the drive leg even something that I should have done?

Critique my righty and lefty backhands

I have a couple of questions that I wish to understand better, if you don't mind. To be clear, the point of these drills in my case is to get the hip more forward from the rest of my body? And it should be caused by my drive leg? Is a part of it also that I don't go down enough into the plant?

The change I made was straightening out the drive leg in the x-step and trying to push off it more. But as also SW has also told me multiple times, I don't get my hip forward enough ahead of the rest of my body. I manage to do it when I move slowly without a disc. Anyway, will be drilling...

I actually started figuring out my problem some days ago and today I got to the field: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH9w9Z6J3GE (throw starting on 00:38). I definitely see a difference in my drive leg and it seems to me that I balance better aswell. Far from a power shot though.

Having reviewed that, the throw did not even deserve posting. Working on my drive leg now, will post again when I see some results. Just surprised about the difference in my form while drilling and actually throwing.
