I find that if I pick and choose what I read, both places are fine. I'm a longtime poster here, but lately I look at reddit more often, simply because it's more active during tournaments.
I had Lyme disease several years ago and continue to experience flare-ups with my knees very similarly to what Ricky seems to be experiencing. It's gotten a little better lately, but I've also been playing way less disc golf.
Whatever the manufacturers' current cash flow looks like, I have to imagine the value of their businesses/brands went significantly up during COVID. If they don't find ways to capitalize on that and invest in smart ways, I'd be surprised.

Nah. I think you quoted the thing I said... Essentially, I was saying I don't have patience for people who are legit bothered by someone rooting for them, or who complain about being "niced."
Good article, and I think disc golf is definitely entering a new era of broader engagement. I think there should be some healthy skepticism that the growth shown during COVID will continue to this degree, but I don't think things are going back to how they were a couple years ago.
Anecdotally...
This type of DX plastic was really common when I first started playing, which was around 2011 I think. Still have one of those types of Aviars in my bag (it's completely thrashed and has even been run over by a car, but it's still useful for certain things).
