[Update] Improved
[This was reviewed prior to major changes in 2009] The first 5 holes and the last 3 are creative with their use of woods and water hazards. There are a couple of doglegs (more like 90-degree turns) that you either have to shoot over the trees or sidearm around the bend to get...

Not that good
A couple of the holes had interesting pin placements in little alcoves, and the 9th hole was a fun downhill shot with trees and OB on the right requiring a long sidearm or good anhyzer. A nice path runs from hole to hole. Great tee signs.
The holes that were in the wooded areas...

seen better, seen worse
Good use of space in a fairly small park (in DG terms) with some incredibly tight fairways. A technical course that requires a lot of gentle sidearm shots and a prayer for a good roll. It's a really nice park with some pretty walks from hole to hole, a creek or two, and a...

nice mix
This course has a fantastic variety of holes that make use of the open fields and wooded hills. There are short holes that require more finesse than power, and there are holes that will challenge the biggest arm. Hole 16 was my greatest enemy with a tight tee-off through the woods into...

Elevation!
I played this on a somewhat windy day, and despite the havoc it wreaked on my game, I loved this course! It's a beautiful course, first of all, with imposing old growth trees and a gorgeous stream wending through the back of the course. Many of the holes are about elevation, including...

fine
This course has a few creative and difficult holes, a couple of them including very real water hazards. There are also a couple of holes that use tree "corridors" well to provide a challenging shot.
Although this may be a small issue for most people, it drove me crazy: there's goose poo...

Too many people
Although there are a couple of holes that are fun, the cons outweigh the pros on this course.
If you play this on a weekend, especially a nice one, be prepared to yell "Fore!" a lot.
I really have nothing good to say about the course. I've been twice, and I won't be going back...

Little to do
Incredibly open and fast to play. Few people.
Incredibly open and fast to play... There's nothing to do, really. Short holes with no obstacles (a few OBs). Not even really a good place to practice a drive because you'll overshoot.
With the addition of some trees, this could become...

Good introductory course
This is a great place for a beginner to work on distance and trying out different drives. The holes are very open, and the placement of the trees makes it more about getting around them than through them (unlike nearby Veterans Park). The front 9 are especially friendly...

Despite only having 9 tees, this course does a remarkable job of changing up the alternate holes to keep it from feeling like a repeat. The first 9 are mostly sidearm holes while the back 9 are better for backhand throwers. The course has been cleared fairly well, so although it's a wooded...

Rough
Heavily wooded course that will either boost your ego or break your spirit. It's a very challenging course with a couple of water hazards from which you'll never retrieve a disc unless you go swimming. There are a few open holes that give a break from the wooded holes. The course is a...
