Hah. It seems like all I ever do is field practice. I haven't even been on the course in like 3 weeks. I think I'm going to take like a 2-week break while I play MLB 2k10, and then get back into it with a fresh start.
lol. I don't even know why I said it was lame, I tend to not think before I type. Do they cover forehand at all in that video? Even if they don't I'll probably still get it.
Hey, pretty nice looking bag. I don't think that you will need all of those fairway drivers (eagle/tbird/xl, and leopard). I think you will be better off picking either an eagle or a tbird, and an xl or a leopard. Also, if you are throwing 250-300 I'd drop the Wraith. You should try a Z Buzzz...
So, I'm thinking about getting some discs strictly for field practice and putting practice. There's a good deal on GGT that has 5 KC Pro Aviars and some lame DVD about the fundamentals of DG for $45. I also want like 5 of the same discs that I can throw in a field to work on form. Any...
I like having exactly 2 putters and 11 other discs in my bag at all times. No more and no less. They fit perfectly and I feel anything over that is too many for me.
I'm getting rid of my
dx shark,
dx teebird,
champ starfire,
champ sidewinder,
and dx orc.
That will leave me with a...
My Star Valk is stuck on the second story ledge, 25' up on the outside wall of a huge gym. Unless we get some heavy winds I don't think I'll ever get it back. :(
Thanks! If you look in the corner you can see my dog too. lol. I just got this bag yesterday and it's amazing. Holds 11 discs perfectly in the big part and 2 putters in the front and a mini. Works perfectly for me, deciding that I don't want to carry any more than 13 discs anyway.
yeah i've been watching the beato video over and over again. my imovie is '08 i think. can't find the slomo anywhere on it. Not too worried about it though. With forehand i can't force myself to bend my front knee and shift my weight forward.
all great tips. I went out to the ole practice field last night to try some of this stuff out, and I think I'm beginning to get it. I still lack the distance, but I'm getting smooth lines more frequently. I'll keep practicing and add an x-step to see if i start getting more distance. Thanks all.
