I really liked the front nine. Right when I thought it was going to be the same "shoot around some trees in a field" theme for everything, we came to hole 5, which along with 6, 8, and 9, made for some very interesting shots.

Not bad
Mainly wide open, any trees on a hole will come into play mainly as you get closer to the pin, with a couple of exceptions.
Good mix of short and long holes. Just enough of a mix between right-to-left and left-to-right to keep it interesting.

Quite a few long holes, with just enough obstacles in the way to balance making it fun and giving you fits.

Aesthetically, probably the nicest course in middle TN. Definitely the best tee box signage I've seen.
You could live inside the concrete tee pads they have. The things are massive so you have plenty of room to make your drive.

Very, vey challenging, you'll need a mixed bag of throws. Lots of alternate pin placements that routinely change. Homeless guy that looks like Willie Nelson lives around the 11th hole (no joke) and gathers lost discs. He's cool; he knows a lot about the course and will point out where to go...
