    2025 Champions Cup in Stockton?

I did enjoy Sprinkle Valley, so maybe that will return as a Elite Series location. I don't have a problem with the Champions Cup being in California, but I really wish they'd have found a woods course. That's what makes the Champions Cup special and my guess is that one of two things will...

    2025 Champions Cup in Stockton?

The dates on the PDGA website are May 1-4. Not sure if those are firm dates at this point.

    2025 Champions Cup in Stockton?

This dropped on social media yesterday. Multiple players responded negatively to the event being staged in a park course.

    2024 DGPT - Copenhagen Open

It will be interesting lead and chase cards for both the MPO and FPO, although the FPO looks like a three way race. It will still be fun to see if Jenni can hold off the challengers and finish top 5 or perhaps even move up onto the podium. Any of the top 15 MPO could take the win tomorrow, so it...

meh +1. Not sure why I'd need anything between a Valk and Firebird.

    2024 DGPT - Copenhagen Open

She's a really good player and her game has a maturity beyond her years. I'm interested to see her personality come through a little more in the coming years. Right now, she's very quiet and seems shy, but that could have a lot more to do with a language barrier than anything else.

    2024 DGPT - Copenhagen Open

Really impressed with the strides that European women players are making. It adds so much to the FPO, both in personality and competition. Hope to see some coverage of Jenni Karppinen tomorrow. I think she is a really solid player (and incredibly nice as well).

[Question] Most hated disc ever...other than the Groove

The Wolf filled a flippy mid slot for me for a while until I discovered five or six molds that do it better. I think I still have a few in a box somewhere... I might challenge the family to a Wolf-only round at some point. That should screw our games up for at least a week.

    2024 dynamic discs open

Although the wording of 806.02 B ("A disc is out-of-bounds if its position is clearly and completely surrounded by an out-of-bounds area") also indicates that a disc must be "clearly" OB and not just likely OB. So in this case, if there is doubt about a disc being OB, it should be ruled in-bounds.

HOD 5/9/2024: Stonelick State Park Hole #9 Pleasant Plain, OH

It's one of my favorites. A dozen really good holes, a few "meh" holes, and three disc eaters that are just mean to me (#14-16). Long: Tremor or Rollo playing the left gap. Short: Dart which I almost always grip-lock into the brush.

    2024 dynamic discs open

I'm not sure how Terry could be sure of that without picking up the disc and looking at the line. It did not appear that any white appeared between the disc and in-bounds, so in my thinking it should have been in-bounds: 806.02 B A disc is out-of-bounds if its position is clearly and completely...

    2024 dynamic discs open

I think this is one of the few times that I've disagreed with you, although I do understand your point. Personally, I want my commentators to be willing to call out questionable decisions, point out inconsistencies, and offer honest opinions. From my view of the disc and the line (not sure if...

    [PDGA Major] Champions Cup 2024

Rule writing is always tricky. The more latitude you allow, the more space for a crafty player to exploit it. Except in the case where it is long of the basket, in which case a lot of odd stuff can happen.
