Anyone try these out in stiff headwind? Threw a friends proto star for funsies and Im loving it for fh approaches. From my limited throws I'd say Z Flx Zone > Star Aviarx3 > Soft Envy in terms of stability (max weight).
Is it worth trying to find a z magnet? I love my glow and protege clutch's, which I switched to because of the stability and lower profile. Will a new z magnet hold a line then fade?
i dont know if this had already been covered, but since MVP is all about the rim is there a difference in stability btw proton, neutron and plasma? I threw a fh only round with my plasma envy today and I couldn't believe it held a lazer straight line up to 270. will a proton have some fade?
Same reason I bought one lol. My glow dx roc has a pop top and it flies just the way I want it to. The flat kc does feel great even if it's not as os :(
Finally got my hands on a flat top kc roc. Its color glow 180g but its not as OS as I thought it would be. is it supposed to be less os than a glow dx roc? Maybe a regular glow kc roc will do me justice.
Threw a TI into a stiff headwind and man was that thing stable. Lazer beam 340 then fade. Are they coming out with production run TI's? More workable than jerm thundys for me.
I hope they make more of color glow. Absolutely love the feel of my shryke and current run sexburd. Havent thrown a color glow destroyer, but if its not too stable ill probably grab one.
Threw mine about 6 times fh on a lightly breezy short course roday. 170-172g, slight dome, first run, and great grip even though I prefer flat drivers for fh duties.
It was pretty easy for me to get these nice and straight 330-360 ft. Comparing these to my seasoned icon outlaw, destroyer, and...
Man, I am the complete opposite. For me the 17's are workable right out of the box. I dont know about the less glide part because with my fh skills throwing 300-320 with a 16' firebird takes some work, whereas my 17's are easier. Even on 250 ft holes my 16's dump a bit more.
One thing that...
