    Is it just me?

Alright, here is my take on this situation: Your putting is neither better nor worse than it was before. You have hit a plateau because something major has changed and it has nothing to do with putting. As disc golfers improve, the first thing to improve is driving simply because it's what gets...

    Hyzer-Flip

Yes, that can be tricky. Here's how I do it: I stand with my shoulders in-line with the target and with my feet together. Hold the disc up with your elbow bent so it is also pointing down the target line. The disc will be in front of your right pec to start. As you start your limited reach back...

    Hyzer-Flip

The toughest thing about a hyzer flip is that you need to generate a lot of snap causing the disc to spin fast. If you're strong-arming it, the disc will be spinning slower, and consequently, will not generate the low pressure area on the left side of the disc and will stay in a hyzer. My...

    [Discraft] Discraft Stalker

Alright, so I've browsed the forums and I've seen little bits here and there, but nothing definitive on this disc. I just picked up a 176g Stalker in Elite Z and I would like to know what people think of it and what it is going to be best used for. I picked this up after reading some info on...

[Wanted] 11X Champ TeeBird in weights below 169g

ok, so I guess maybe what I'm asking is 2 questions: 1. will a 12x Champ Teebird fly similar to how my 11x did fly (hyzer flip that goes super straight and barely fades) ? 2. Is there a better disc to buy to fill this spot? and if so, what is it?

uh oh...super flippy? I want it to hold a straight line for a good distance. Is it going to try and turn over on me or slide right?

[Wanted] 11X Champ TeeBird in weights below 169g

Yes, unreasonable, I know...damn deflation of the dollar relative to disc prices. Anyone think the Avenger SS is going to fill that hole well as a hyzer flip disc that goes really straight with limited fade? I threw my friend's once and it seemed good for it.

[Wanted] 11X Champ TeeBird in weights below 169g

Well, I was probably just going to go buy an FLX Avenger SS and use that as my hyzer flip disc. It's more likely to do what I want it to do right out of the box. After reading Blake's post, he does have a point and I wouldn't really want to spend more than say $15 on it, so I may as well get the...

The Stingray is like a slower, more understable, mid-range version of the Avenger SS...so now...

The Stingray is like a slower, more understable, mid-range version of the Avenger SS...so now that I think of it, not really alike at all. But, the good thing about a stingray is you can use it for super slow turnover shots that you start with a hyzer release. This disc doesn't require much...

Maybe I should just move it quickly before anyone notices my mistake...

[Wanted] 11X Champ TeeBird in weights below 169g

So, after parking my Teebird 2 feet from the basket on #6 at Grand Woods yesterday, I decided to play a second round. I managed to throw this same Teebird directly into the lake behind the little island on my second time through. After 30 mins of wading through the water, I gave up on finding...

    [Discraft] SS Avenger

Love this disc. Hyzer flip it ftw. To me this is like what a good beat in champ TeeBird is like, you hyzer flip it and it goes super straight for a long way and has a light fade at the end. I personally like how it feels in the FLX plastic, but I'm sure it's just as good in others.

    Progress

ok, so here's your general advice: right now, you're most likely strong-arming the disc. You need to break out of that tendency as quickly as possible or you'll find yourself starting to make bad adjustments to get the disc to not hyzer. You'll find yourself starting to roll your wrist to get it...

    Progress

hard to say exactly what's going on. I suggest posting a video so the members of this forum can better analyze your form. Also, are you a Right-handed backhand thrower? or do you throw it a different way? Providing some more details and a video of yourself discing would greatly aid this thread.

billandchristy, I'm loving that Basil Marceaux Avatar. That made this thread more worth reading.
