Review by honeycu4 in course Hornets Nest Park - Old Layout

4.50 star(s) Favorite course in Charlotte. Two layouts, Orginal and Web. Web plays about 10-15 strokes harder. Distance and accuracy required as most holes are narrow and over 300'. Take advantage of getting 2's and 3's because you will take a couple of 4's and even 5's on the Web. Highly recommend...

Review by honeycu4 in course Renaissance Park - Gold

4.50 star(s) Tough, most difficult course in Charlotte, by far. Both layouts are very challenging. You will be hard pressed to find a course more difficult than the Gold Layout. Distance and accuracy are required here. Wooded, open, multi-shot, elevation changes this course has it all. Design is...

Review by honeycu4 in course Kilborne TPC

3.00 star(s) Good design with a few multi-shot holes. Must take advantage of easier holes as a few holes provide a nice challenge. Fairways are a must on most holes as rough and angles to pins can be very challenging. For me it is kind of a mix between Reedy and Sugaw. Don't care for the park.

Review by honeycu4 in course Sugaw Creek Park

3.00 star(s) Not to long but not to short. Majority of the holes are between 250' - 350' so provides nice birdie chances. For me plays much harder than it should. Usually find myself getting a three on almost every hole. Mix of open and wooded holes. Never very crowded. The holes are all kind of the...

Review by honeycu4 in course Reedy Creek Park

3.50 star(s) Really fun course to play. So many birdie holes. Dual tee pads and two layouts. Each hole is designed with the disc golfer in mind, no unusual trees in the way. Nice elevation changes. Short layout provides birdie chance on every hole, long layout plays just a few shots harder from the...

Review by honeycu4 in course Bell & Howard Chevrolet DGC

2.00 star(s) Almost two completely different 9 hole courses. Front nine open and easy. Back nine narrow and much more difficult. Never crowded. Kind of a junky park. Front and back nine are not located next to each other and there is a long walk between them. A few holes on the back nine have less than...

Review by honeycu4 in course Stumpy Creek

3.00 star(s) Nice length and dual tee pads on orginal nine holes. Recently expanded to 18 holes with new holes carved out of dense woods. New nine are very challenging with substantial elevation changes. With expansion to 18 provides nice mix of wooded and open holes. From pro tee pads many holes are...

Review by honeycu4 in course Davidson College

2.50 star(s) Decent layout and much accuracy needed. Many ace runs. All holes driveable off tee except 18. Short course with some very out of place holes for filler to complete 18 holes. Cool that Davidson College (beautiful campus) has an on-campus course but it is private to students only. I've heard...

Review by honeycu4 in course Bailey Road Park DGC - Old Layout

2.00 star(s) Good for practice. Great place for beginners or to take kids as there is a huge playground located at hole #3. All but three holes play over 200'. Nice tee pads and baskets. Short course and only nine holes. Possibly could have used more of the unused land at the park to increase challenge.
