not sure what the fuss is about
Nice scenery, 3 difficulties to chose from, mix of long and short holes, a technically challenging course. Several very memorable shots which is something that I really appreciate.
Several holes are basically in the woods with no fairway.
I drove 2.5 hours to play...

Great unique course
Unique landscape, you get in a good all terrain hike in as part of your play. Most holes are very dynamic and interesting.
The rough terrain could be too much for some. A few holes are dissapointingly short and straight forward and seem out of place compared to the rest...

Really good course
Nice big course. Good mix of open fairway and obstacles. Good layout, signs are helpful, good parking.
The 4-5 holes in a row in the woods on the back 9 are a bit of a chore, but once you get out of the woods you have the wide open beautiful view to greet you.

good stuff
well kept, good signs, short walks between holes, two baskets per hole, very little underbrush, good rubber tee pads, benches at each tee.
A little woodsy for my taste, usually lots of leaves on the ground in the fall, but it is manageable as long as you stay in the fairway.

Work in progress
Update: New signs on all the tees, updated as of 9/11/12. See updated course map in the links section.
The scenery is great, the campus ground are very well maintained. Most holes have open fairways with a good mix of wooded shots . Great course for beginers and enthusiasts...

bring a machete to clear a path
There were several hole layouts that were very unique and fun, this made the experience very memorable and made up for a lot of the other issues.
Each tee has a big yellow post/sign which makes them easy to locate.
A few of the holes are just way too woodsy...

good, could have been great
Well maintained, lots of variety between holes, not crowded, good signs at the tees showing the throwing path, good signs after the baskets helping you find the next tee, not much walking between holes.
Only one basket per hole despite there being 3 possible baskets...

Beautiful course
Nice landscape, mostly open holes, nice long unique holes.
Barbed wire on the OB on the first few holes can cause you to lose discs easily, beware. Bring extra water, the only water fountain is around hole 5. By the time you get to hole 14 you are going to be very thirsty...

A little rediculous
Close to UCONN, free.
Almost every hole is in dense woods, you are basically playing along a trail. It really limits how you can play and makes is almost impossible to be competative.
Certain holes are borderline dangerous as they have you playing along ridges that drop off...

least fun i have ever had playing disc golf
I played 5 holes and stopped. Excessively windy, course is too baren.
I spent 45 minutes trying to find my yellow disc in a wide open field of brown dead grass / dirt, and this was in bounds.
On one hole my disc landed in a brook that is litterally...

Good for what they have to work with
It is nice that they fit in 18 holes on such a small area. The park is well maintained. Tees have signs that acurately show the hole and the next tee.
Because the park is small all of the holes are short, I dont think there was one over 300 ft, which means...
