Will only play it once
There are concrete teepads for each hole. As the course mentions, you are mostly under trees which allows you to not worry about losing a disc to gusts of wind or water like at nearby FSU.
Main complaints with the course was that many of the holes interfere with or are...

Beginner or Pro, You'll have fun
-Multiple tees on every hole. I particularly liked their system of handling or and multiple tees. From my experience, the longest tees will have the highest par and vice verse. But, at Hobbs Farm Park, every tee pad is the same par. This really benefits every...

A very nice course! (Hole to Hole Directions in Other Thoughts)
This is probably one of the best courses I've played so far. It has a good mix of open play to wooded play. There was a few elevation changes but not to the point that it tires you out after a round (ex. Downhill shot from gold tee...

Simple, Laid Back Round
This course was freshly mowed and seems well kept. All of the baskets were in good condition. All holes had concrete tee pads and signage with distances on them. The woods line gives a good idea of OB with it rarely being too thick or thorny to find your disc if it goes...

Not worth the drive or money
The course had benches at most or all tee pads. There was signage on each hole. Decent course flow with little to no difficulty finding the next course. Good Baskets (Mach V).
Course had not been trimmed in a while; normally I wouldn't complain about this, but since...
They could be separate companies, but Gateway's baskets are called Titans. Im in the market for a practice basket too and I'm debating between the MVP pro and the dynamic disc recruit, or the westside basket. I'm leaning towards the MVP.
Few issues with this. If I'm not mistaken, the crucible is not a permanent course and is only set up rarely for tournaments. I know for a fact this is the case with Haywood Valley and they have a strict no trespassing law. Also, Flyboy is no longer open because of issues with discs being thrown...
I'm an hour west of Atlanta, but it's not too out of the way to go to a suburban course like Oregon Park. Atlanta has some pretty good courses all around its perimeter though!

Boundary Waters
Pros: Boundary Waters is a well maintained course. It quickly starts with in holes as in my opinion the first three are some of the best holes on the course.
Hole one has you throw right towards a lake with the basket about 20 feet or so from the edge. On a windy day like the...

Bring your Hiking shoes
A few nice holes specifically 1, 5, and 18 were available. I would say there is a "mix" of open and wooded play, but that's true and not true at the same time.
Honestly, had it not been for me sinking my longest putt ever, a 56 footer, my time on Shorter's DGC would have...

Berry Student's Review
Of the two 18 hole Berry course, I prefer this one. Although there is currently not a map (I will attempt to draw one of interest is shown), once you find the first tee box, almost all of the other tee boxes are logically close to the previous basket (with exception to 9)...

Flat, Shaded Course
The newly added back nine makes this course somewhere to check out in the area. In the hot summer, the entire course is shaded from the get go so it's not as miserably hot. This being said, there is somehow clearance. Somewhere that is that shady would sound like it would be...
All good points. Thank you all. Especially INTP's about the 13 speed ape in DX. That's a very true point. Thanks for the clarification.
I think the main thing that made this arise was I started with DX and loved them and them bought a champion teebird and couldn't control it.
So I've played for a few months and I've been buying a disc here and there to try out mostly from disc golf center. They have a wide variety of plastics in each mold and I just had a general question.
I know each plastic is good for different things like some are more durable than others and...

Little High School DGC
It was just a short, average 9 hole course. The baskets were in good shape and there was some signage.
I really enjoyed the last hole which is definitely the steepest elevation change I've ever seen. It's a straight down throw that I out drove the basket with my putter...
