Good Putter Only Course
Never busy, no cost to play there, parking is right by start of course. Holes are really short, but not boring.
Short holes, tee boxes are just mulch (but new mulch seems to get added 1-2x a season). Basket on hole 5 is falling apart, basket portion is held on with duck...

Pretty good course
This is a pretty good course. The grounds are always kept pretty well maintained. Dual cement tees on each hole.
Can get pretty busy on weekend, often there are large groups (5-6+ people) that take forever on each hole. Course is relatively easy.
Says that it costs to play...
I took on this philosophy this season after I got my Ions. On one short course, all holes < 250ft they are the only discs I throw.
I can throw them accurately out to just under 200ft and I'm not even a guy with a powerful arm. They simply just go straight and are extremely easy to control.

You might find a bit of snow. I played there Saturday but it was before this last storm came through. You'll probably find a surprise half way through the course by the basket. There is a deer skeleton just past the basket. I posted pics on here in the Winter photo thread.
I gotta work...

The color is a bit more vibrant in person (crappy phone camera), almost looks like I took a highlighter to it.
This was taken at Grizzly Oaks at OU yesterday. One of it's front legs was like 50 yards in front of it on the hole. Something got a hold of this deer.
I played 3 rounds this weekend with my new 175g Soft Ion and my 174g clear Vector. I didn't throw the Vector much besides some shots where I needed a big hyzer shots.
The Soft is easily becoming my new favorite disc. The short course I played today lended to it all day. Almost every shot was...
If I'm in the area I'll stop in. I think one weekend this summer I might do a around MI course road trip. I've only played the courses in my immediate area. Even though Lansing isn't that far anyways ;)
I'm still waiting for my Vector and Soft Ion to come in from DGC. They said it was shipping Monday. I'm anxious to try it out and dye it. Hopefully they come tomorrow, I wanna play Saturday weather permitting.
I second using MonoPrice if you need a cable/extender. We use them at work for orders multiple times a week.

Haven't tested with a plotter (I don't have one) but we've used them at work...
