Review by JezCat in course The Cedars

3.00 star(s) Needs some fine tuning Lots of variety and good use of obstacles in the area. New tee boxes and signs. Peaceful rural area. Near Harry Myers so playing 18 on each is available. (Update: They have cleaned up the stumps, barbed wire, and poison ivy since I first played) Lots of cedar trees can...

Review by JezCat in course Lester Lorch Park - Coyote DGC

4.00 star(s) This is a very nice but tight wooded par-3 course with lots of variety in shots. Several elevation changes throughout the day. By far the most difficult course I've played. Concrete tee pads. There are also PVC pipes sticking out of the ground that will direct you to any unseen baskets. Some...

Review by JezCat in course Harry Myers DGC - Old Layout

4.50 star(s) This is my favorite course to play because of the variety of shots it gives you. Some long holes and some shorter ones, both right and left doglegs, tight section of wooded holes that will test your accuracy and control, a few elevation changes and not much risk of losing a disc. My favorite...

Review by JezCat in course Bear Creek

4.00 star(s) As stated previously, there are two tee pads per hole. Plenty of shade on a hot summer day but it's much better if you play in the morning to avoid the crowd. Plenty of trees to navigate around during your round without the wooded overkill some courses have. Hole 12 is the signature hole with a...

Review by JezCat in course BB Owen Park

3.50 star(s) Alternate basket placements which makes the course more challenging by adding a little distance and a couple holes with the baskets on a steep slope within the trees. Hole #9 is one of these that benefits from the change and is my personal favorite despite the parking lot on the left side of the...

Review by JezCat in course Paschall Park

2.50 star(s) Clean. Easy to follow. This course isn't very technical from the beginner tee pads so play the advanced tees after you've played for a year or so to add some distance and a few extra obstacles to spice it up. Can get muddy after recent rain from poor drainage on the back 9. No elevation...

Dallas here. I have 68 within 100 miles but 50 of those are within 50 miles. Then about 35 of those are within 35 miles which works fine for me.
